Moving into the final week

Looking ahead to the Pac 10 Tournament. Stanford will be the # 1 seed and UCLA the # 2 seed. Washington State, Oregon State and Washington will definitely be in the two play in games, and given this week's schedule it appears Arizona will be the 4th play in team. The winners of the play in games play UCLA and Stanford.


1. Stanford 17-0, 27-1.

Beat ASU 63-42. Jayne with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Kayla had 12 points and 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

Beat Arizona 75-48. Jayne broke the all time Pac 10 rebounding record. She had 11 points and 8 rebounds. Kayla, Jeanette and JJ had an incredible 16 assists and 2 turnovers combined. Nneka scored 15 points and had 9 rebounds. Kayla led all with 26 points and added 8 rebounds. Stanford made 10 threes, Kayla 4 of those.

2. UCLA 13-3, 20-7

Beat Oregon State 72-53. Markel Walker scored 19 points and 7 had rebounds. The Bruins played 10 players 14 or more minutes. Darxia Morris had 10 assists. Jasmine Dixon score 17 points.

Beat Oregon 91-75. Dixon scored 31 points and had 20 rebounds in one of the top performances of the year. Dorenna Campbell added 21 points. The Bruins out rebounded the Ducks by 27 and on the Offensive Boards by 16.

3. Cal 11-6, 17-11

Beat Arizona 58-52. Gennifer Brandon had 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Bears.

Lost to ASU 57-50. Cal shot only 36% and were out rebounded by 11. Alexis Gray-Lawson scored 16 points and had 7 rebounds, but took 23 shots.

Next Games: March 6 at Stanford


4. USC 10-6, 16-11

Beat Oregon in Eugene 87-84. Ashley Corral scored 23 points with 5 threes and dished out 12 assists to lead the Trojans. Brianna Gilbreath scored 20 points, Jackie Gemelos and Christina Marinacci 13 each.

Beat Oregon State 53-50. Heather Oliver hit 4 of 5 threes for 18 points. Ashley Corral had 7 assists but also 6 turnovers. Kari LaPlante had 9 rebounds.

5. ASU 9-7, 17-10

Lost to Stanford 63-42. Danielle Orsillo scored 12 to lead the Sun Devils. Becca Tobin had 10 rebounds.

Beat Cal 57-50. Orsillo scored 17 and Tobin scored 10 with 10 rebounds. Kayli Murphy also had 10 rebounds.

Next Games: March 4 at UCLA, March 6 at USC



6. Oregon 7-9, 16-12

Lost at home to USC 87-84. Taylor Lilley hit 4 threes, scored 22 points and had 5 assists. Micaela Cocks scored 16 points and had 4 assists.

Lost to UCLA 91-75. The Ducks were out rebounded by 27. They did hit 11 of 30 from three. Cocks had 24 points, 4 of 6 from three. Lilly scored 17, 5 of 13 from three. Amanda Johnson scored 13 and had 5 blocks and 3 steals.

7. Arizona 6-10, 13-14

Lost to Cal 58-52. Ify Ibekwe had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Lost to Stanford 75-48. Ibekwe had 15 points and 12 rebounds, Davellyn Whyte scored 13 points.

Next Games: March 4 at USC, March 6 at UCLA


8. Washington: 5-11, 10-16

Beat WSU 70-54. Regina Rogers had a season best 23 points for the Huskies who played before 5,510 fans. Sami Whitcomb had 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 steals.

Next Games: March 5 Oregon State, March 7 Oregon



9. Washington State 2-14, 7-20

Lost to Washington 70-54. April cook scored 14.

Next Games: March 5 Oregon, March 7 Oregon State


10. Oregon State 1-15, 9-18

Lost to UCLA 74-53. Talisa Rhea scored 15 points and Brittany Kennedy had 7 assists. Kristen Tilleman had 11 points and 8 rebounds.

Lost to USC 53-50. The Beavers only had 10 turnovers, but shot a poor 24%.

Next Games: March 5 at Washington, March 7 at Washington State
