# 5: Georgia
# 6: Vanderbilt
# 7: Gonzaga

I’m sure we’ll all get a great preview of this weekend’s teams from the fantastic Cyd, but briefly here is some advance information.

Riverside features three players you may know. Rheya Neabors transferred from Arizona and is averaging 8 points and almost 5 assists per game. Her twin Rhaya also transferred from Arizona and is averaging 11 points per game. Marissa Rivera was teammate of Candice Wiggins at LaJolla Country Day and is now in her 6th year. She missed 2 years with injuries and another transferring. She has been at TCU, Vanguard and now UC Riverside. She is averaging 10 points per game.

A 4th player is Mitty’s Nicole Anderson who is sitting out this season after transferring to Riverside.

Iowa starts a 6-5 Center, frosh Morgan Johnson, but their scoring comes from three under 6’ players each averaging 15 points per game. Iowa has made 252 threes, shooting 37%. For a comparison, we have made 202 threes, 34%. Another comparison, we have held opponents to 127 threes and 25%.

Let the Dancing begin.

  1. Not to be TOO much of a nitpick, but in PAC10 play the Cardinal allowed Oregon to score 80, and several others to score in the 60s. Or did you mean, "holding every TOURNAMENT opponent to less than 50 points"?
