Stanford 18-0

Stanford is the first team since 2002 to go through the Pac 10 undefeated. Stanford did it then too.

We start play in the Pac 10 tournament Friday at 1:15PM against the winner of Thursday’s Arizona vs Washington State game.

1. Stanford 18-0, 28-1.

Beat Cal at Cal 63-45. The Card held Cal to 28% shooting with Jos filling in for the injured Jayne. Jos had 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Nneka had 22 points and 14 rebounds while Kayla had 23 points and 10 rebounds. Ros had 6 assists and held Gray-Lawson to 4 of 13 from the floor.


2. UCLA 15-3, 22-7

Beat ASU 63-59. The Bruins had 22 turnovers, still one less than ASU. Jasmine Dixon once again led the Bruins with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. UCLA shot 51% and had three other players with 10 or 12 points.

Beat Arizona 70-61. Nikki Caldwell started her 3 Seniors and Erica Tukiainan responded with 20 points. Jasmine Dixon scored 17 and had 9 rebounds.


3. USC 12-6, 18-11

Beat Arizona 55-53. USC was up 12 at the half and barely held on to win. Kari Laplante led with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Brianna Gilbreath scored on 10 shooting 4 of 15 from the floor, but had 8 assists.

Beat ASU 62-52. Ashley Corral had 20 points although committed 7 turnovers. Like Caldwell, Mr Cooper started his Seniors. This is the most wins for USC in4 years and the most conference wins in 5 years.


4. Cal 11-7, 17-12

Lost to Stanford 63-45. Alexis Gary-Lawson scored 15 and DeNesha Stallworth had 12 points and 13 rebounds.



5. ASU 9-9, 17-12

Lost at UCLA 63-59. Danielle Orsillo scored 14 points and had 5 steals. Alex Earl scored 11 points, 3 of 5 from three.

Lost to USC 62-52. Danielle Orsillo led with 13 points.


6. Oregon 7-11, 16-14 (has the tie breaker over Washington)

Lost at WSU 67-53 by shooting 27%. They were only 9 of 36 from three. Taylor Lilley was only 4 for 15 from three, but did lead the way with 16 points. Lilley now needs 5 threes to crack the NCAA top 10 season list. Amanda Johnson had 10 points, 4 blocks and 11 rebounds.

Lost to Washington 62-53. Looks like the Paul Westhead style of play just ran out of gas at the end of the season. Taylor Lilly scored 14 points, Amanda Johnson scored 10 and had 9 rebounds. Lilly needs 3 threes Friday to hit the NCAA top 10 in a season list.


6. Washington: 7-11, 12-16

Beat Oregon State 67-49, outscoring the Beavers 35-19 in the second half. Sami Whitcomb had 14 points and 3 steals, while Kristi Kingma added 11 points and led the team with 6 rebounds. The Huskies shot 48% from the floor.

Beat Oregon 62-53. Regina Rogers had 15 points and 8 rebounds in 16 minutes. Sami Whitcomb went 0 for 10 and only scored 1 point in her last home game for the Huskies.



8. Arizona 6-12, 13-16

Lost at USC 55-53. Ify Ibekwe scored 18 points and had 7 rebounds. The Wildcats had only 5 assists and 21 turnovers.

Lost at UCLA 70-61. Davelynn Whyte had 17 points and Reiko Thomas scored 20.



9. Washington State 3-15, 8-21

Beat Oregon 67 -53 as Jasmine Perkins hit 5 for 9 from three for 19 points and also had 10 rebounds. April Cook scored 16 points and Rosie Tarnowski had 10 rebounds. The Cougars out rebounded the Ducks by 17.

Lost to Oregon State 50-46 shooting only 25% from the floor. Perkins and Kiki Moore combined for a 3 for 20. April Cook, 5 for 17, scored 13 points. Katie Madison scored 13 points on just 5 shots, 7 of 8 from the free throw line, and had 11 rebounds.


10. Oregon State 2-16, 10-19

Lost at Washington 67-49. Talisa Rhea scored 12 points but was 0 for 8 from three.

Beat WSU 50-46. Kristen Tilleman scored 10 points and had 14 rebounds, Julie Futch scored 13 points and had 3 steals.
