Review of the past week

1. Stanford 2-0
Beat Boston College 96-63. Lili Thompson scored 26 points and Erica McCall added 16 points. Stanford shot 65%.

Beat former # 1 UConn 88-86 to move into First Place in the Coaches Poll. Lili Thompson scored 24 and Amber Orrgane added 17 points. Kaylee Johnson added 13 rebounds. Stanford Out rebounded UConn and shot 49% to UConn’s

2. Cal 2-0
Beat UOP 84-64 although UOP’s top player is out with a concussion. Courtney Range scored 27 points and had 11 rebounds making 3 of 4 from three. Mikayla Cowling added 18 points and was 2 of 3 from three. Brittany Boyd had 8 assists.

Beat Nevada 76-54. Reshanda Gray scored 17 points and Cowling was 3 of 4 from three for 13 points. Boyd had 7 assists and frosh Gabby Green had 8 assists.

3. Oregon State 2-0
Beat Portland 87-65. Ruth Hamlin aed 20 points and Ali Gibson added 16. Sydney Weise had 7 assists.

Beat Utah State 85-62. Six players scored in double figures.
Weise had 8 assists and Hamlin had 12 rebounds

Lost at Oklahoma 90-80 despite Kelsey Plum’s 45 points and 5 assists. The Huskies only had 10 assists.

5 UCLA 0-2
Lost to James Madison 91-87. Nirra Fields had 26 points but 7 turnovers. The bruins had 26 turnovers. Frosh Jordin Canada had 15 points and 10 rebounds. 36 fouls on UCLA and 4 players fouled out.

Lost to North Carolina 84-68. Fields had 21 points and Frosh Monique Billings had 12 rebounds. 27 fouls by UCLA and they were 4 of 23 from three.

6. USC 1-1
Lost at South Carolina 70-61. The Trojans shot 33% but Center Drew Edelman from Sunnyvale was 5 of 5 from the floor for 10 points.

Beat Davidson 99-64. Courtney Jaco was 5 of 7 from three as all five starters scored in double figures. USC shot 52% and were 8 of 17 from three.

7. Washington State 2-0

Beat # 22 Dayton 76-60. Guards Lia Gladeira and Tia Presley led with way with 21 and 18 points respectively. Both teams shot just 33% but the Cougars had 13 steals as Dayton had 30 turnovers.

Beat Idaho State 84-34. Presley had 29 points, 6 of 10 from three while Gladeira had 24 points.

Beat Utah State 100-77. The Ducks shot 55% and were lead by Katelyn with 33 points going 8 of 12 from three. Jillian Alleyne added 20 points and 12 rebounds as the Ducks shot 55%, and 17 of 32 from three.

Beat Middle Tennessee 81-67. Sophie Brunner had 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Beat San Jose State in overtime 100-87. Taryn Wicijowski returned from a lost season due to an ACL to score 36 points and collect 19 rebounds. Frosh Joesta Fatutsi had 14 points and 9 rebounds in 14 minutes.

Lost to Cal State Bakersfield 76-72. Candice Warthen scored 18 but the Wildcats shot just 35%.
