Bob K,
ReplyDeleteDouble check the ASU box score. It was Senior Jane Fulcher who had 26 points, not Promise Amukamara.
Also, re the attendance(156) for the OSU v UCSB. The game was a holiday tournament in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A poster on the UCSB forum made his own arrangements to get down there instead of the tournament package deal for air/hotel/tickets, only to find out that there was no public sale of tickets for this event. Either you got them from the travel package or you had to be on the team list from players or coaches. He was able to contact someone from the team who got him on the list. Its hard to believe that you cant walk up to an event and not buy a ticket, but in this case it was. Beware of these trips to Mexico and the Carribbean Islands. A long way to travel and you might not see a game.
