This Week’s Results for the PAC 12 TEAMS

1. Stanford )5-0): Beat Fresno State 72-61. Chiney with 23 points and 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. Tinkle with 20 points and 3 blocks.

Beat Santa Clara 92-57. Chiney with 22 points, Tinkle with 18 and Amber Orrange with 18 points and 6 assists Greenfield 16 points, 4 of 6 from three.

Beat Baylor in Hawaii 72-69. Just a huge upset over the nation’s # 1 team plus their 42 game winning streak. Chiney with 18 points and 8 rebounds, Stanford 7 of 14 from three with Taylor Greenfield 4 of 7 and Tinkle 2 of 3. Stanford out rebounded Baylor by 12 with Mikaela Ruef getting 12 rebounds.

Beat Hawaii 69-42. Chiney 15 points and 17 rebounds, Tinkle 16 points, Orrange 13 points and Kokenis 12 points.

Beat Tenn-Martin 92-68. Tinkle with 25 points and named All Tournament, Orrange 12 points and 10 assists and Chiney with 25 points and 10 rebounds and named Tournament MVP.

Nov 25 Long Beach State, Nov 30 at UC Davis, Dec 2 at Gonzaga.


2. Cal 2-0: Beat Leigh 80-48. Gennifer Brandon had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Five Bears were in double figures.

Beat St Mary’s 89-41. Brandon had 14 points and 14 rebounds and 6 Bears scored in double figures.

3. UCLA 2-0: Beat San Diego State 66-52. Markel Walk with 15 points and Alyssia Brewer with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Frosh Kori Korver was 3 of 5 from three for 11 points.

Beat # 11 Oklahoma, the first Pac 12 win over a ranked team by other than Stanford in a while. And in Norman, and Oklahoma was 11 for 22 from three. However UCLA out rebounded the Sooners by 22!! Brewer with 15 points and 16 rebounds and Walker with 15 points. Thea Lemberger added 18 for the Bruins.

4. USC 1-1: Lost at Gonzaga 63-52. Cassie Harberts had 18 points and 10 rebounds. USC had 24 turnovers and shot 37%.

Beat Pepperdine 65-56, 567 people attended. Both Point Guards Adams and Crook were in foul trouble quickly. Crook did score 17 and Harberts 24 points and 10 rebounds.

5. Oregon State 1-1: Beat Western Washington 71-59. Alyssa Martin had 20 points and Deven Hunter grabbed 12 rebounds. Frosh Jamie Weisner was 3 of 5 from three and had 11 points.

Lost to Cal Poly 72-62. Martin had 16 points and Patricia Bright had 15 points and 4 blocks.

6. Utah 3-0: Beat Denver 75-60. Michelle Plouffe scored 29 and had 8 rebounds. Taryn Wicijowski scored 16 points and had 7 assists from her post position.

Beat Southern Utah 79-61. Wicijowski had 20 points and 15 rebounds. Iwalini Rodriques scored 20 points.

Beat Michigan 59-40. Plouffe scored 20 and Wicijowski 17.

7. ASU 0-2: Lost to Texas Tech 61-49.

Lost to UTEP 60-54 Adrianne Thomas had 16 points and Joy Burke 12 rebounds. Not a great welcome back for Charli starting 0-2.

8. Colorado 2-0: Beat Idaho 70-65. Brittany Wilson scored 18 and Arielle Roberson 16 points.

Beat Missouri Kansas City 78-55. Frosh Jamee Swan scored 14 in 16 minutes and Roberson scored 23.

9. Arizona, 3-0: Beat Cal State Bakersfield 71-50. Cheshi Poston had 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocked shots. Erica Barnes had 12 rebounds

Beat UNLV 83-82. Kama Griffitts scored 27 points, 7 of 13 from three. Davelynn Whyte scored 21. UNLV shot 64%, but Arizona countered that with 13 threes.

Beat Cal State Northridge 63-56 with Whyte scoring 16 points.

10: Washington: Beat St Mary’s 70-68. Jazmine Davis scored the winning basket with a lay up and scored 25 points. Kristi Kingma in her first game back after missing last season with an ACL was 5 of 14 from thee for 15 points. The Huskies were out rebounded by 26.

Beat Seattle 77-75 in Overtime. The Huskies were out rebounded by 23 and had only 7 healthy players. But Davis scored the winning basket again, this time with 16 seconds l6 seconds left and had 21 points. Kingma was 5 of 11 from three and had 22 points.

Lost to Long Beach State 71-62. Talia Walton had 19 points and Aminah Williams had 14 points and 15 rebounds.

11. Washington State (1-3): Lost to Minnesota in Overtime 83-82. Unheralded Frosh Lia Gladeira scored 33 points and had 5 steals. But 3 WSU players fouled out as the Cougars committed 35 fouls, and were out rebounded by 25.

Lost to South Dakota State 65-56 again in Overtime. Gladeira scored 12. The Cougars were 1 of 15 from three.

Beat Monmouth 79-69. Gladeira scored 11 points, had 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Carly Noyes had a career high 24 points. Tia Pressley scored 21 and the Cougars were 7 of 14 from three.

Lost to Wisconsin 52-44. Gladeira had 15 points and 6 steals, Noyes scored 14. Bobbi Kelsey and Wisconsin are now 2-1 on the year.

12: Oregon 0-2: Lost to St Mary’s 78-69 while being out rebounded by 14. Oregon was 13 of 45 from three.

Lost to Portland State in double overtime 87-85. 6-3 Frosh Jillian Alleyne scored 38 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in her second game ever at Oregon. She was unranked out of a SoCal High School. The 38 points points ties the school record and the 27 rebounds breaks the record by one. Alleyne had 30 points and 21 rebounds in the 2nd half. Starter Lexi Peterson hurt her knee in the days before this game and is out for the season. Oregon made just 2 threes and had 29 turnovers.
