Half way home

We are at the half way point in Pac 10 play and Stanford has a 2 game lead over USC and UCLA who we host this week.

1. Stanford 9-0, 19-1.

Beat ASU 71-48 behind Kayla’s 23 points. Jayne with 12 points and 10 boards, Ross with a career high 19 points. Ros held Danille Orsillo, ASU’s leading scorer without a field goal until 5 minutes left in the game. Jeanette with 6 assists, JJ with 4 and a single turnover between them.

Beat Arizona 83-62 after trailing by 2 at the half. Kayla and Nneka with 27 each, Tinkle with 10, and Jayne with 8, accounted for all but 11 of the total points. The threesome starting guards went 2 for 22, but contributed 11 assists and only 2 turnovers. Kayla added 13 rebounds, Jayne had 12 plus 6 assists.

2, USC 7-2, 13-7

Beat Oregon State 61-34, highlighted by 11 blocked shots for the Trojans. Ashley Corral scored 19 points, with 4 threes and had 7 assists. Brianna Gilbreath scored 13 points had 7 rebounds and blocked 5 shots. Hailey Dunham had 10 points and 9 rebounds and Heather Oliver scored 9 points hitting all 3 of her three point attempts.

Lost to Oregon 85-77. Kari LaPlante had career highs of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Brianna Gilbreath scored 18 with 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocked shots. Ashley Corral scored 22 but was only 7 of 20 from the floor and went without an assist. USC was only 6 of 25 from three.

3. UCLA 7-2, 14-6

Beat Oregon 104-80. Markel Walker played only 25 minutes, she missed about 10 with a blow to the eye, scored 17 points, and had 14 rebounds and 8 assists. Jasmine Dixon scored 20 points and had 5 assists. Mariah Williams had a career game with 15 points as she moved into a starter’s role. Doreena Campbell scored 17 points.

Beat Oregon State 70-44. Markel Walker scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds in the romp that saw UCLA lead 31-14 at the half. The Bruins shot 50% as 10 Bruins played 13 or more minutes.

4. Cal 5-4, 11-9

Beat Arizona 73-53 as Alexis Gray-Lawson had second straight spectacular game with 39points. She shot 50 % from the floor and made 5 threes. Alexis also led the Bears with 3 assists. Gennifer Brandon 15 rebounds, 8 offensive.

Lost to ASU 63-61. Gennifer Brandon had a great game, 18 points, on 7 of 9, 8 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Gray-Lawson went 6 for 20 and 14 points.

4. ASU 5-4, 13-7


Lost to Stanford 71-48. Teneka Watson scored 12 points but all in the first half.

Beat Cal 63-61. Danielle Orsillo scored 20 points and Janae Fulcher came off the bench to go 6 for 6 and 12 points. Kali Bennett had 11 rebounds.

6. Oregon 4-5, 13-8

Lost to UCLA 104-80, their 5th straight loss. Amanda Johnson scored 18 points, Nia Jackson 16, Taylor Lilley 16 and Michaela Cocks 14. The bench only scored 4 points, all by Jasmin Holliday who led with 10 rebounds. Nicole Canepa was shutout in 8 minutes and fouled out.

Beat USC in LA 85-77. Taylor Lilley was an incredible 9 of 12 from three and scored 36 points. The Ducks were 12 of 25 from three. Micaela Cocks scored 24 points.

6. Washington 4-5, 9-10

Beat Washington State 76-70 in Overtime behind Sami Whitcomb’s 32 points. MacKenzie Argens had 12 points and 11 rebounds, Laura McLennan had 8 points and 10 rebounds. The Huskies won despite 26 turnovers.

8. Arizona 3-6, 9-10

Lost to Cal 73-53. Ify Ibekwe scored 21 points, had 12 rebounds and blocked 4 shots. Ashley Frazier had 5 assists.

Lost to Stanford 81-62 despite 24 points from Davellyn Whyte. Ibekwe had 12 points and 9 rebounds. The Wildcats made 9 threes, 8 for 13 in the first half, but were out rebounded by 30!

9. Oregon State 1-8, 9-10

Lost to USC 61-34. Talisa Rhea scored almost half, she had 16. The Beavers shot 24%and had 3 assists to 17 turnovers.

Lost to UCLA 71-44. The Beavers had 29 turnovers, 8 by Talisa Rhea who scored 16 points.

10. Washington State 0-9, 5-15

Lost their 9th straight Pac 10 game 76-70 to Washington in Overtime. Hurried shots with a lead at the end of regulation did in the Cougars. April Cook scored 17 and Kiki Moore scored 14 with 4 steals.

Stanford comes home in first place

Stanford starts a four game homestand first with the Arizona schools, then with the LA schools and climaxed with a reunion of the 1990 NCAA Championship team.

1. Stanford 7-0, 17-1.

Beat Oregon State 63-47. Kayla with 23 points. Jeanette off the bench with 6 assists. Jos Tinkle with 6 blocks.

Beat Oregon 100-80 with Nneka breaking Nicole Powell’s single game rebound record as she grabbed 23 to go with 30 points. Jayne had 17 points, Kayla 11 rebounds, JJ had 6 assists, Ros 5 assists and Jeanette 6 assists. Jeanette scored 15 with 5 three’s, JJ and Ros both hit a pair of threes. Stanford made 13 threes and had 26 assists on 35 made shots.

2. USC 6-1, 12-6

Beat Washington 69-65. Ashley Corral hit 5 of 7 threes and scored 19 points and also had 6 assists. Kari LaPlante tied a career high with 13 pints. Arrika Hughes was 3 of 5 from three for 10 points. The Trojans made 11 of 20 threes. Mr Cooper was polite after the game.

Beat Washington State 61-51. Brianna Gilbreath scored 17 points and had 11 rebounds. Ashley Corral was held to 10 points but she also had 7 assists. Arrika Hughes had 8 points and 9 rebounds.

3. UCLA 5-2, 12-6

Beat Washington State 59-56 as Jasmine Dixon scored 23 points. Dixon also had 8 rebounds. UCLA had 23 turnovers and made only one three, but the Bruins held the Cougars to 29% from the floor.

Beat Washington 69-65 behind Jasmine Dixon’s 25 points. Doreena Campbell added 21 points as UCLA shot 50% from the floor. Interesting for those who follow the assists stat, the Bruins had only 5 assists, but still shot 50%. Dixon also had 9 rebounds.

4. Cal 4-3, 10-8

Beat Oregon 72-62. The Bears shot just 40% and were only 3 of 16 from three, but out rebounded the Ducks by a huge margin, 23. Alexis Gray-Lawson scored 19. Eliza Pierre had 5 assists and 5 steals. Talia Caldwell had 13 rebounds, 9 offensive.

Beat Oregon State in two Overtimes 79-75 behind Gray-Lawson’s School Record 47 points. She was 13 for 31from the floor, 4 of 7 from three and 17 of 20 from the free throw line. Gennifer Brandon had her third double, double, 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Beat Arizona 73-67. Becca Tobin had 19 points and 9 rebounds, while Kayli Murphy had 9 points and 11 rebounds. Danielle Orsillo scored 16 points and Tenaya Watson had 14 points, 4 steals and 4 blocked shots.

6. Arizona 3-4, 9-8

Lost to ASU 73-67. Ify Ibewke scored 25 points and had 16 rebounds. Davellyn Whyte scored 22 points.

6. Oregon 3-4, 12-7

Lost to Cal 72-62. Taylor Lilley had 16 points, 4 of 7 from three. Nicole Canepa scored only 6 points after going off for 38 in her last game.

Nia Jackson had a career high of 26 points, Cocks scored 17 and Lilley 4 of 8 from three and 16 points.

8. Washington 3-5, 8-10

Lost to USC 69-65 in a heartbreaker as the Huskies out rebounded the Trojans by
16. But USC’s 11 threes turned the tide in the loss. Sami Whitcomb scored 22 points and had 11 rebounds. Sami also had 8 turnovers. Kristi Kingma scored 19 points.

Lost to UCLA 69-65. Whitcomb had 16 points and 4 assists while Laura McLennan game off the bench to score 14 points.

9. Oregon State 1-6, 9-8

Lost to Stanford 63-47 despite Talisa Rhea’s 27 points. The Beavers were only out rebounded by 3. Rhea 27, the other Beavers, 20 points.

Lost to Cal in Double Overtime 79-75. Rhea scored 25 points, almost half from the free throw line. Rhea also had 5 assists. Kate Lenz gave off the bench to score 12 points and El Sara Greer had 11 rebounds.

10. Washington State 0-8, 5-14

Lost to UCLA 59-56. April Cook scored 19 points and made 3 threes, as the Cougars were 7 of 21 from three, but made only 9 non threes, shooting 29% overall. Jasmine Perkins had 16 points, including 3 threes. Katie Madison had 9 rebounds.

Lost to USC 61-51. The Cougars continued their very poor shooting, 27% in this game and 8 for 31 from three.

Stanford holds on to first place

1. Stanford 5-0, 15-1.

Beat Washington State 80-43 with Nneka scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Jayne with a great all around game, 14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks, 4 steals and 4 assists (high for the game). Kayla 13 points and 10 rebounds and Ros with 3 threes.

Beat Washington 66-51 behind Nneka’s 20 points and 13 rebounds. Kayla with 14 points, 2 threes, and 5 assists and Jayne with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. 17 turnovers marred the play.

2, USC 4-1, 10-6

Beat UCLA before over 4800 fans 70-63. The Trojans made 24 of 27 free throws to UCLA’s 9 of 20. Ashley Corral scored 24 points and Briana Gilbreath scored 19 points and had 6 assists.

3. Oregon 3-2, 12-5

Lost at ASU 73-68. The Ducks committed 28 fouls and had two players foul, or fowl, out. Lack of inside defense allowed ASU to shot 57% and make 18 more free throws than the Ducks. Jasmin Holiday had 10 rebounds. Micaela Cocks and Nia Jackson both had 15 points. Taylor Lilley made 4 threes and had 14 points.

Lost at Arizona is the highest scoring game in Pac 10 history, 119-112. Nicole Canepa had a career game, maybe double her previous best, with 39 points on 14 of 18 from the floor and added 8 rebounds. Amanda Johnson had 17 points and 13 rebounds. Kristi Fallin came off the bench for 18 points including 4 threes. Surprisingly Cocks and Lilley scored only 23 between them.

Oregon set the Pac 10 record for most points by a losing team. I would have loved to see this game because with 41 FGs by the Ducks, they only had 7 assists.

3. UCLA 3-2, 10-6

Lost at USC 70-63. Erica Tukiainen scored 14 points going 4 of 7 from three. UCLA was 8 of 17 from three but only 9 of 20 from the free throw line. All five starters scored between 8 and 14 points. Markel Walker had 11 rebounds.

5. Washington 3-3, 8-8

Lost at Cal 60-43. The Huskies two big scorers, Sami Whitcomb and Kristi Kingma only scored 8 points between them on only 3 of 12 shooting. Regina Rogers scored 13 points for the Huskies, Sarah Morton had 11 points. The two teams combined to make one three.

Lost to Stanford 66-51. Christina Rozier had 4 threes on her way to 13 points. MacKenzie Agrens scored 11 points.

5. Arizona 3-3, 9-7

Beat Oregon State 62-53. Soana Lucent was 7 of 10 for 18 points and added 7 rebounds. Reiko Thomas scored 12 points and had 4 assists, and Davellyn Whyte scored 14 points. A nice crowd in Tucson of over 1700.

Beat Oregon and set the Pac 10 record for most points, 119. Won 119-112. Davellyn Whyte set a Arizona school record by scoring 39 points, including 5 of 6 from three. Arizona shot an incredible 63%, if those going to Oregon to watch Stanford this week are wondering about the Oregon defense. Ify Ibewke scored 32 points and had 14 rebounds and 7 assists (one less than the Oregon team). Soana Lucent scored 28 points.

5. ASU 3-3, 11-6

Beat Oregon 73-68. The Sun Devils were 23 of 39 from the line, Oregon 5 of 10. But it was Oregon unable to stop the Sun Devil post players as the ASU posts were 16 of 22 from the line. Danille Orsillo scored 17 points while posts Kayli Murphy and Becca Tobin scored 11 and 12 respectively. The two teams combined for 27 steals, leading to 52 turnovers.

Beat Oregon State 56-47. Danille Orsillo scored 20 points and Alex Earl came off the bench to hit 3 threes and score 11 points.

8. Cal 2-3, 8-8

Beat Washington 60-43 in a game where Cal caused or helped the Huskies commit 30!! Turnovers. Eliza Pierre had 6 of Cal’s 11 steals. Alexis Gray-Lawson scored 19 points to lead Cal, NeDesha Stallworth scored 13. In the very sloppy game Cal had only 8 assists on 23 baskets and missed 13 Free Throws. Attendance at Cal was only 761.

Beat Washington State 74-68. Good attendance of 1900 fans. Alexis Gray-Lawson had the big game people were waiting for with 29 points and 6 rebounds. Gennifer Brandon scored 12 points and had 7 rebounds. Pierre had 5 assists and 4 steals. The Bears shot 46% and out rebounded the Cougars by 18.

9. Oregon State 1-4, 9-6

Lost at Arizona 62-53. Talisa Rhea who had 7 threes last week in a game was 0 for 6 from three and 6 for 18 total for 13 points. The beavers didn’t make a three in the game. Haiden Palmer scored 15 points and El Sara Greer pulled down 14 rebounds including 10 offensive boards.

Lost at ASU 56-47. The Beavers didn’t make a single three, although Talisa Rhea did score 20 points. The Beavers were plagued by 21 turnovers.

10. Washington State 0-6 5-12

Lost to Stanford 80-43. Kiki Moore was the only Cougar in double figures, 14 points, but took 18 shots to get there. The Cougars shot only 25% and from three shot only 14%, 4 for 28.

Lost to Cal 74-68. Kiki Moore had 13 points and 8 assists. April Cook scored 16 and the Cougars shot a fine 46% for the game.

Oregon joins Stanford on top of the Pac 10

1. Stanford 3-0, 13-1.

Beat USC 82-62. Kayla Pederson scored 24 points and had 14 rebounds. Nneka Ogwumike had 21 points and 12 rebounds. Jayne Appel scored 9 and had 9 rebounds, just missed what would have been three Cardinals with double doubles.

Beat UCLA 65-61. Ros with a career high 18 points, 4 of 6 from three and two game clinching free throws. Nneka with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Stanford was 21 of 24 from the free throw line.

1. Oregon 3-0, 12-3

Beat Oregon State in Corvallis 86-71. Oregon made 11 three’s and shot 54% for the game. Three Ducks scored 20 or more points. Taylor Lilley scored 23, made 5 three’s, had 5 assists, no turnovers and 4 steals. Micaela Cocks scored 22 points, had 3 assists and no turnovers. Amanda Johnson scored 20 points and had 9 rebounds.

3. UCLA 3-1, 10-5

Beat Cal 57-46. Jasmine Dixon scored 13 points for the Bruins, the only player in double figures. UCLA shot 43 % while holding Cal to 28 %. Christina Nzekwe had 8 rebounds to lead the Bruins. Markel Walker did not play the second half.

Lost to Stanford at home before 2,400 fans. Doreena Campbell scored 17 points and had 4 assists. Jasmine Dixon scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds. Darxia Morris scored 13 and Walker 10. Walker was limited to 20 minutes with an injury to her face that she had suffered in a previous game. .

3. USC 3-1, 9-6

Lost to Stanford at home 82-62 before a great for USC home crowd of 1,877. Ashley Corral scored 18 to lead the Trojans. Brianna Gilbreath had 10 points but on 3 of 13shooting. However Gilbreath also has 6 assists with no turnovers. USC had only 4 turnovers for the game.

Beat Cal on Ashley Corral’s last second 22 footer to win 64-61. Corral scored 18 points and made 4 threes. Gilbreath scored 19 points including 11 of 12 FTs.

3. Washington 3-1, 8-6

Upset ASU at home 62-56. Sami Whicomb was on fire with 26 points, 5 of 8 from three, and 11 rebounds.

Beat Arizona 69-59 to go a very surprising 3-1. Both terms shot about 30%. Kristi Kingma with a career high 25 points including 12 FT’s in 16 attempts. Kignma also had 5 steals. Boy the State of Washington had 2 great guards 2 years ago in Kingma and USC’s Ashley Corral. Laura McLellan added 15 points.

6. Oregon State 1-2, 9-4

Lost at home to Oregon 87-71 before a great crowd of 3,100. Talisa Rhea scored 30 points and made 7 of her 8 three point attempts. Haiden Palmer added 19 points and Kristen Tilleman scored 13 points and had 7 rebounds.

7. Arizona 1-3, 7-7

The Wildcats beat Washington State in Pullman 67-60. Ify Ibewke scored 21 points and had 8 rebounds. The Wildcats shot 53% although they also had 22 turnovers. Only 523 saw the game. All five starters played at least 35 minutes and four scored in double figures.

Lost at Washington 69-59. Davellyn Whyte scored 20 points but took 18 shots and had 4 turnovers. Ibewke had 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists with only a single turnover. Arizona had 18 turnovers and shot only 29 %.

7. ASU 1-3, 9-6

Lost at Washington in a major upset, 62-56 as the Sun Devils went only 3 of 16 from three. Becca Tobin had 19 points and Kayli Murphy scored 11 points and had 7 rebounds. Murphy was the only Sun Devil with more than 5 rebounds.

Beat Washington State 64-59. Danielle Orsillo with 19 points and Becca Tobin with 17. An amazingly high 25 turnovers by the Sun Devils.

9. Cal 0-3, 6-8

Lost at UCLA 57-46. Cal shot out rebounded the Bruins by 15 but had 8 more turnovers and shot only 28% . Alexis Gray-Lawson got hot in the 2nd half and scored 20 points, 3 of 5 from three, and also led the Bears with 8 rebounds. Only 4 of the Cal players made a shot from the floor.

Lost at USC 67-64 on a last second shot by USC. DeNesha Stallworth scored a career high 30 points and Alexis Gray-Lawson added 20 points and 8 rebounds. Sadly the other Bears were 5 for 21 and scored only 14 points.

10. Washington State 0-4 5-10

The Cougars lost at home to Arizona 67-60. They shot only 31 %. Carly Noyes had 8 points and 15 rebounds. April Cook scored 15 but was only 6 of 17 from the floor. Jasmine Perkins was 2 for 10 for 7 points.

Lost to ASU 64-59. Cook with 11 and Perkins with 10, as they combined for a not very decent 10 for 34 from the floor.

The Pac 10 season begins

The Pac 10 began play and Oregon jumped into the lead with USC and UCLA. The LA schools went to Arizona and sweep the Sun Devils and Wildcats.

1. Oregon 2-0, 11-3

Beat Washington 82-71 as Taylor Lilley went off for 33 points with an amazing 8 of 13from three. Lilley’s 8 three’s put her at 190 for her career, a new Oregon record. Victoria Kenyon was one of three others in double figures as she hit 3 of 4three’s. Oregon made 13 of 23 three’s and shot 50% for the game.

Beat Washington State 98-92. Lilley cooled off with 15 points and 2 three’s, but Amanda Johnson scored 12 points and had 15 rebounds. Nia Jackson had 20 points and 7assists. Micaela Cocks scored 22 points. Six Ducks were in double figures and the team was 23 of 27 from the free throw line.

1. UCLA 2-0, 9-4

Beat Loyola Marymount 73-52. Markel Walker led the way with 20 points. Jasmine Dixon had 10 rebounds and 7 points in just 18 minutes. Walker and Dixon also had 3steals each. Doreena Campbell added 14 points for the Bruins.

Beat Arizona in Tucson 67-58. The Bruins shot only 38% but made 9 three’s, 39%, and had only 14 turnovers. Also they had 17 assists on 24 made shots. All five starters had 3 assists. Doreena Campbell had 20 points to lead the Bruins. Darxia Morris scored 18 points and Christina Nzewke came off the bench to grab 9 rebounds in 20 minutes. UCLA starts 4 guards and a forward.

Beat ASU 74-58. Markel Walker scored 24 points and Jasmine Dixon scored 21 and had 11 rebounds. Atonye Nyingifa took the court briefly, for the first time this season. The Bruins shot 58%.

1. USC 2-0, 8-5

Lost at home to North Carolina State 59-53 before only 854 fans. USC shot only 32% with Ashley Corral going 1 for 12. She did have 7 assists, but also 7 turnovers. Brianna Gilbreath led with 16 points, Aarika Hughes had 10 rebounds. Daniela Roark scored a career high 10 points.

Beat ASU in Tempe, 60-56 for a great Pac 10 start. The Trojans trailed by 9 with 5 to go but Heather Oliver got hot from three to lead the Trojans to victory. Oliver had 14 points on 4 of 6 from three. Gilbreath led with 16 points. Corral was again very cold, going 1 for 10.

Beat Arizona in Overtime 81-78. Corral really bounced back with 27 points, including 5 three’s and 8 assists. Oliver had 19 points, 4 of 7 from three. USC was 10 of 25 from three.

5. Oregon State 1-1, 9-3

Beat Portland State 58-49. Talisa Rhea scored 19 and Kristen Tilleman added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Beat Washington State 63-49. Rhea scored 19 again as did Haiden Palmer. El Sara Greer had 10 rebounds. The Beavers shot 44% and held the Cougars to 31%, while out rebounding the Cougs by 12.

Lost to Washington 69-64. Rhea scored 22 but was only 5 of 20 from the floor. She was 11 for 11 from the free throw line.

5. Washington 1-1, 6-6

Lost at Oregon 82-71 giving up 13 three’s. McKenzie Agrens scored a career high 21 points and added 9 rebounds. Sami Whitcomb scored 15 and hit 3 three’s. Oregon hit 13 three’s.

Beat Oregon State 69-64, shooting 49% from the floor. Kristi Kingma scored 18 and was 8 for 10 from the free throw line. Agrens had 10 points and 8 rebounds. Regina Rodgers played only 10 minutes in the two games.

7. Cal 0-1, 6-6

Lost to Boston College 81-69. Layshia Clarendon led the Bears with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Talia Caldwell had 15 points and 9 rebounds. Alexis Gray-Lawson scored 17, but was only 5 of 19 from the floor. Cal had only 5 assists on 26 made shots for the game, and shot only 32%. Brenna Heater returned to the Bears, recovered from a foot injury. Gennifer Brandon is still out.

Beat Nevada 85-60 and Brandon returned with 10 points in 12 minutes. Clarendon scored 22 points in 23 minutes going 4 of 6 from three. Cal shot 52%.

Lost at Stanford 79-58 before almost 5,600 fans. Cal shot just 36% but did make 6 three’s. Clarendon had 13 points, Stallworth 11 and Natasha Vital had 11. Gray-Lawson was held to 9 points.

8. Arizona 0-2, 6-6

Beat Alabama A&M 86-60. Davellyn Whyte led with 21 points and 5 of 10 from 3. Soana Lucet scored 15 points and had 11 rebounds. Brooke Jackson scored 15 points. The Wildcats shot 63.5% for the game.

Lost to UCLA 67-58. Ify Ibekwe scored 12 points and had 17 rebounds. Davellyn Whyte scored 16 points but had NINE turnovers. The Wildcats had 22 turnovers, 8 more than the Bruins.

Lost to USC in Overtime 81-78. Great game by Whyte with 34 points, including 6 of 10from three. Ibewke had 21 points and 13 rebounds. The Wildcats shot 44% had 8 three’s and out rebounded the Trojans by 13.

8. ASU 0-2, 8-5

Beat Furman 74-37 holding Furman to 26% shooting while the Sun Devils shot 62%. Danielle Orsillo hit 3 of 4 three’s and scored 16 points. Tenaya Watson added 12 points.

Lost to USC at home, 60-56. The Sun Devils shot 47%, had 20 assists on 25 baskets, and out rebounded USC by 12. However they also had 23 turnovers, 8 more than the Trojans, and the Trojans made 4 more three’s. Also ASU was only 4 of 11 from the free throw line. Orsillo led with 16 points. Becca Tobin had 13 rebounds.

Lost to UCLA 74-58. The Bruins shot 58% against the Sun Devil defense in the easy win for UCLA. The Sun Devils made only 14 shots the whole game, 1 three, although they did go to the line often, going 27 of 38. Tobin had 13 points, Orsillo, 12.

8. Washington State 0-2 5-8

Lost to Oregon State 63-49. Only Kiki Moore in double figures with 19 points and she had 4 steals. April Cook and Jasmine Perkins combined to go 5 for 25 from the floor.

Lost to Oregon 98-92. The Cougars shot 41% and had 9 three’s, but made 10 less free throws than the Ducks. Both Moore and Cook scored 24 points and combined were 6 of 8 from three. Perkins scored 15 and had 6 assists.
