Team Roster 

Last Season:  12-8, 7-6.  The Coaches:

Scott Rueck

Scott Rueck is in his 12^th year and has been an outstanding coach, turning the then lowly Beavers into a Final 4/Elite 8 team.

James Chatterton is in his 8th year.  

Jenny Huth is in her first year after 3 seasons as Head Coach at Northern Colorado.  Before that she was an assistant at UCLA for 7 years.

Deven Hunter is in her first year after 2 years as a Grad assistant at U of San Diego.  Hunter played for Oregon State 2012-16.   

 

Losses:

Katie Faulkner, is now an Assistant at Washington

Brian Holsinger is the new Head Coach at Montana with Jos Tinkle as an Assistant.  

Sasha Goforth Guard averaged 11 points and 4 rebounds.  A major loss she is now at Arkansas. 

Savannah Samuel,  Wing, averaged 3 points and transferred to West Virginia.

Aleah Goodman, Guard who averaged 16  points and 5 assists last season and made 48 threes at 49%.   Goodman was a WNBA draft choice.  

Tara Corosdale averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds.

Jasmine Simmons averaged 3 points. 

 

Additions:

Kennedy Brown, 6-6 Soph Forward was a McD All American and ranked # 19.  2020 was cut short with a knee injury and she redshirted this season.  2019-20 in 23 games she averaged 6 points and almost 8 rebounds.  

Great Kampschroeder, 6-0 Wing from IL, ranked # 12 and a McD All American.

AJ Marotte, 6-1 Wing who decommitted from Washington.  Ranked # 63.

Emily Codding, 6-0 Wing transfer from St Mary’s.   Was averaging 15 points and 8 rebounds thru most of 2019-20 before a knee injury.  She returned for the last 5 games this past season averaging 9 poits and 7 rebounds.

Tea Adams, 5-9 Guard Grad Transfer from San Diego State where she averaged 11 points.  Dad was an All Pro Defensive Tackle.  

                                                                  

The Schedule:  

Michigan, Notre Dame, Northern Iowa and Villanova top the non- conference schedule.  

 

The Team:

Taylor Jones, 6-4 Jr Post, last season Jones averaged 12 points 9 rebounds and shot 57%.

Kennedy Brown, 6-6 Redshirt Soph Forward who was a McD All
American and ranked # 19.    Brown had to Redshirt this past season however two years ago she averaged 6 points and almost 8 rebounds.  

Talia von Oelhoffen, 6-0 Soph Guard ranked # 10 out of HS but graduated early and played the last 13 games averaging 11 points and 4 rebounds and hit 43% of her three attempts. 

Ellie Mack is a 6-3 Forward Redshirt Sr who  averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds.

Jelena Mitrovic, 6-9 Redshirt SR Post who averaged 4 points and 4 rebounds.  

Jovana Subasic, 6-4 Forward, 5^th year  player who averaged 2 points per game

Andrea Aquino, 6-8 Sr Post from SoCal by way of SoCal and Paraguay ranked # 33 out of HS.  Aquino has not played at Oregon State  and is not expected to play again.

Noelle Mannen, 5-6 Soph Guard maybe now a former walk on who played 37 minutes.

 

Predictions:  

Three solid starters in Jones, the return of Brown,  and von Oelhoffen.   Mack played a lot but Brown should be the starter.  Kampschroeder is a top recruit and Adams a possible starter.    It’s a young team for this season, but recruiting well so the future is bright. 

 

 2022 Recruiting:

Reagan Beers 6-3 Post from Colorado ranked # 10.
