Pac 12 Comings and Goings

Pac 12 for next season, who they lose, who they gain. Or just plain comings and goings.

Beware this is a moving target as USC has 6 players transferring.

Arizona:
Losses: Destiny Graham, Post who played in all but 4 games and started 2. She averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds.
Lindsay Malecha, Guard, who played just 48 minutes.

Additions: Birna Benonysdottir, 6-5 Post from Iceland. 4 star on Prospects Nation.
Tara Manumaleuga, 6-0 Guard from Australia. 4 star on PN

The incoming class is not ranked with the two foreign players. However with only the minor losses and winning the WNIT means the Wildcats are returning many experienced and very good players including all 5 starters.

ASU:
Losses: Kianna Ibis Forward averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds

Courtney Ekmark, Guard averaged 10 points and made 68 threes about triple the next Sun Devil

Charnea Johnson-Chapman, Post averaged 5 points and 7 rebounds

All three above started every game for the Sun Devils

Sophia Elenga Forward averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds.

That’s about 55% of the teams points and about 55% of the teams rebounds.

Additions: Eboni Walker, 5-11 Wing from Nevada ranked 43 on ESPN

Sydnei Caldwell, 5-9 Guard from New Jersey ranked 109 on PN

The Class is ranked # 44 by PN

CAL:
Losses: Kristine Anigwe, Post 22 Points and 16 rebounds per game, National Defensive POY.

Asha Thomas , Guard 10 points and 4 assists per game

Reece Caldwell, Guard 10 points and 4.5 assist per game

Kianna Smith, Guard 10 points, 3 assists per game, Smith is transferring

Mo Mosley, Guard played 83 minutes on the year.

That’s, 72% of the points. Also 4 of the starters. And 76% of all threes made.

Additions:
Cailyn Crocker, 5-8 Guard from SoCal # 66 PN

Lauren Fields, 5-9 Guard from Texas # 115 PN

Jazlen Green, 5-10 Guard SoCal . Unranked but maybe because she missed her Sr year with a knee injury. Could be a sleeper as she had a great Sr year.

Evelien Lutje Schipholt, 6-0 Forward from The Netherlands

  1. Cal's other loss is Charmin Smith:

  2. And now, Charmin is back at Cal as head coach after Lindsay left for the NBA.
