Results of the past week
Arizona (1-1) beat Idaho State 71-46. Transfer McDonald with 22 points and 10 rebounds with Frosh Reese adding 21 points and 10 rebounds. Lost to LMU 66-64. LMU played without Gabby Green who scored 25 against UCLA. Aari McDonald had 39 points going 20 of 23 from the Free Throw line.
ASU ( 1-1) Lost to Baylor 65-59 on a Navajo Reservation in Arizona. ASU only had 5 turnovers.
Cal (3-0) Beat Penn State75-59 with Anigwe scoring 24 points and grabbing 22 rebounds. The Cal beat BYU 70-52, both these games on the road. Anigwe had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Asha Thomas had 17 points.
Colorado (2-0)beat Northern Colorado 77-69 as Kennedy Leonard had 30 points. Beat Colorado State 59-40. Frosh Sirena Tuitele had 14 points and 9 rebounds.
Oregon (3-0) held on to defeat #18 Syracuse 75-73. Sabrina Ionescu had26 points and 10 rebounds. Beat Utah State 88-58 with five players scoring in double figures.
Oregon State (2-0) beat Cal Poly 79-54 with transfer Destiny Slocum scoring 15 points and passing out 8 assists. Beat Arkansas Pine Bluff 89-33. Slocum had 15 points and 11 assists.
Stanford (2-0)defeated UC Davis 71-43. Alanna Smith has 16 points and Frosh Lexie Hull has a double double 11 points and 11 rebounds. Beat 115-71, 6th most points ever and the 16 threes tied the school record.
UCLA (2-1) beat Rice 59-50. Lindsey Corsaro played 40 minutes after missing 2 full seasons and scored 12 points. Beat # 14 Georgia 80-69. Micheala Onyenwere had 25 points and Kennedy Burke added 21 points.
USC (2-0) Beat Long Beach State 86-50. Minyon Moore had 21 points and 7 assists.
Utah (2-0) defeated Nevada 74-52. Dre’Una Edwards has 16 points for Utah along with 15 rebounds. Beat Alabama 72-62. Megan Huff had 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Washington (2-0) best Fullerton 83-74. Amber Melgoza lead with 18 points. Beat Northern Arizona 81-59. Melgoza had 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Washington State (0-2) Lost to St Mary’s 70-64. Alexys Swedlund had 22 points.
