Mike Daugherty, June’s husband is also in his 11th year at Washington State.

Ashley Gill is in her 6th year as a Cougar assistant.
Rod Jensen is in his 3rd year as an assistant after coaching Men’s basketball for 30 years.

Losses:
Only one loss and that is Ivana Kmetovska who averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Additions:
Celena Molina a 5-9 Guard from Hawaii whose sister is the starting Point Guard for the Cougars.

Taryn Shelley a 6-3 Post from Washington. Neither recruit was ranked.

Schedule:
Kentucky, Gonzaga and Nebraska are on the Schedule, plus a tourney in Florida. The Cougars play the Arizona and LA schools once each.

The Team:
Borislava Hristova is 6-0 Redshirt Soph from Bulgaria, one of the 7 non Americans on the team. Borislava played only 9 games last season before her season ending injury but averaged 15 points per game. She started all but one game as a Frosh averaging 16 points per game.

Louis Brown is a 6-3 Redshirt Jr from Australia who played just 7 games last season before her injury and averaged 10 points and a team high 7 rebounds. As a Soph Brown averaged 5 points starting almost all the games.

Chanelle Molina is a 5-9 Soph Guard who started all 17 games before her season ending injury. Molina averaged 13 points and a 1.8:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Caila Hailey is a 5-10 Sr Guard who averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds, while starting all but 3 games.

Alexys Swedlund is a 5-11 Jr Guard from North Dakota who averaged 12 points and made 75 threes, almost more than the next three players and shot at 35%.

Maria Kostourkova is a 6-4 Jr Center from Portugal who averaged 4 points and 4 rebounds.

Pinelopi Pavlopoulou is a 5-8 Sr Guard from Greece who averaged 8 points per game.

Kayla Washington is a 6-0 Soph Forward who averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds in just 15 minutes last season.

Cameron Fernandez is a 5-10 Soph Guard who was being redshirted until all the injuries. In 9 games and 11 minutes per game she still averaged 5 points.

Nike McClure is 6-3 redshirt Jr Post player who averaged 4 points and 6 rebounds in 19 minutes.

Jovana Subasic is a 6-4 Redshirt Frosh Post from Serbia who redshirted last year. Jovana has been playing on Serbian national Jr teams for 4 years.

Predictions:
This could be June’s best Cougar team. This is a very good starting lineup and maybe the best ever at Washington State. A winning record is very likely.

Recruiting 2018:
No Commits at this time, of course only one Sr.
