Pac 12: Results of the Week

Oregon State, 10-3, 1-1: Lost at Notre Dame 62-61. Gabriella Hanson had 18 points and Jamie Weisner added 15. Sydney Wiese is still out with a hand injury to her non shooting hand. Beat USC 57-49. Ruth Hamlin had 16 points and 14 rebounds. Still without Wiese. Lost to UCLA 71-51. Weisner had 19 points.

Stanford, 11-3, 1-1: Beat Chattanooga 73-30. Erica McCall had 18 points and Karlie Samuelson another great defensive performance. Beat Arizona 59-34, breaking the Stanford record for fewest points allowed in a Pac 10/12 game. Arizona shot 21% from the field. Brittany McPhee had 21 points, 3 of 6 from three, and Alanna Smith added 16 points, 4 of 5 from three. Lost to ASU 49-31. Stanford Shot 29% in their lowest scoring game in years. “nuff said.

USC, 13-2, 1-2: Beat UC Irvine 75-56. Kristin Simon had 19 points and 13 rebounds and Courtney Jaco had 21 points. Attendance was 406 and the average home attendance thus far this season is 556. Wow. Lost to UCLA 78-73. Temi Fagbenle had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Simon had 11 points and 14 rebounds. UCLA shot 49% but USC out rebounded them by 14. Lost to Oregon State 57-49. USC shot just 29%. Sadie Edwards the transfer from UConn had 20 points. Jordan Adams missed another game. Beat Oregon 74-67. Temi Fagbenle had 19 points and 11 rebounds.

UCLA, 11-3, 3-0: Beat UC Riverside 70-56. Kacy Swain had 14 points and 15 rebounds and Monique Billings had 15 points and 10 rebounds. UCLA was 3 of 18 from three. Nirra Fields didn’t play. Beat USC 78-73. Billings had 23 points and 12 rebounds, Jordin Canada scored 22 and Nirra Fields added 19. Beat Oregon 80-69. Fields had 31 points, 5 of 7 from three. Swain had 10 points and 14 rebounds. Jordin Canada had 11 assists although also 6 turnovers. The Bruins out rebounded the Ducks by 10. Beat Oregon State 71-51 as Canada was 9 of 13 for 24 points.

CAL, 9-4, 0-2: Beat Cal State Northridge 106-44. Kristine Aniqwe had 30 points and Mikayla Cowling added 29. Gabby Green had a triple double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Lost to ASU 57-49. Kristine Aniqwe had 22 points and 13 rebounds shooting 10 of 13 from the field. Cal had 26 turnovers. Lost to Arizona 57-52, Aniqwe had 19 points and 10 rebounds, but the rest of the team shot 28%.

Alleyne had 25 points and 16 rebounds. Lost to USC 74-67. Alleyne had 23 points and 17 rebounds and Lexi Peterson added 22 points.

ASU, 11-3, 2-0: Beat Cal State Northridge 69-46. Arnecia Hawkins had 18 points. Beat Cal 57-49. Sophie Brunner had 16 points and Elisha Davis had 9 assists. Beat Stanford 49-31. Sophie Brunner had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Plum had 18 points and 6 assists, while Talia Walton had 24 points, 4 of 8 from three. However the story of the game was Chantel Osahor who had 24 points, 3 of 6 from three, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Lost to Utah 88=-83. Plum had 35 point but 9 of 25 from the floor. Plum was 15 of 17 from three. Osahor had 18 points but just a single rebound.

Washington State, 10-4, 1-2: Lost to Washington 79-64. Borislava Hristova had 15 points. Lost to Utah 73-71. Hristova had 23 points. Beat Colorado 74-66 as the bench scored 43 points.

Beat Washington State 73-71. Potter had 10 points and 18 rebounds, while Danielle Rodriguez had 9 assists and 9 points. Beat Washington 88-83. Paige Crozon had 24 points and 10 rebounds while Potter had 16 points.
