2023-24 Preview: Arizona Wildcats

 


Preview:  Arizona



Last Season:  Arizona was 22-10 overall and 11-7 in Pac 12 play, under Head Coach Adia Barnes.     

 

The Coaches


Adia Barnes is the all time leading scorer at Arizona and is in her 8th year the Head Coach.  Barnes had been at Washington as an assistant  for four years as the Huskies came from the 2nd division of the Pac 12 to the NCAA Final Four.  Barnes played professionally for 12 years including for 4 WNBA Teams.  

Salvo Coppa, or Mr Barnes is a 8th year assistant.  Coppa is from Italy and has extensive overseas coaching experience.

Bett Shelby is in her first year as an assistant, last season she was special assistant to Barnes.  Before Shelby coached at West Virginia.

Anthony Turner is in his first year after 4 years at Weber State 

 

Losses:  

Assistant Coaches Ashley Davis and Erin Grant are no longer at Arizona 

Lemyah Hylton, would have been a soph and averaged 1 point in 15 games.  She transferred to Miami of Florida.

Paris Clark, would have been a Soph and averaged 4 ppg.  She transferred to Virginia

Lauren Fields would have been a 5th year and she averaged 4 ppg.  She transferred to West Virginia.

Jade Loville, graduated after averaging 10 ppg

Cate Reese graduated after averaging 13 ppg and 6 rebounds per game. 

Lauren Ware would have been a SR but missed last season with an injury.  The year before she averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds.  She transferred to Texas A&M

Shaina Pellington graduated after averaging 13 points.

Madison Conner would have been a Jr after averaging 6 ppg.    She transferred to TCU

 

Additions:  

Jada Williams, 5-6 PG from SoCal ranked # 21

Breya Cunningham, 6-4 Post SoCal ranked # 14

Montana Dew, 6-2 Wing NV ranked # 8.   *** Sadly Dew suffered a knee injury and is out for the year. ***

Fanta Gassama, 6-1 Wing, JC transfer

Skylar Jones, 5-10 Wing, IL, unranked but some good offers.

Courtney Blakely, 5-8 Jr Guard transferred from Middle Tennessee State where she averaged 7 ppg.

Salimatou Kourouma, 5-11 Sr Wing from Mali transferred from Little Rock University where she averaged 18 ppg in each of the last two seasons.   She was the Ohio Valley conference POY. 

Isis Beh, 6-3 Jr Post/Forward transfer from West Virginia where she averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds a game.  

 

The Schedule:  

Arizona plays Utah and Colorado only at home and only away to play Oregon and Oregon State.  Arizona will play in the Bahamas where the toughest teams will be Ole Miss and Michigan.   Also there are games against Texas and Gonzaga.  

 

The Team:  

Esmery Martinez

Helena Pueyo is a 6-0 5th year Guard who averaged 5 points.

Maya Nnaji, 6-4 Soph Post who averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds.  She was ranked 9 out of HS.

Kailyn Gilbert, Soph and averaged 5 PPG last season. 

Esmery Martinez, 6-2 5th year Forward Martinez averaged 10 points and 9 rebounds.

 

Predictions:          

The Wildcats return only 24 points and only one player averaged more than 5 ppg.   Martinez averaged 10 and Nnaji was highly ranked but played behind a very good post last season, Reese who graduated, so Nnaji should be a big part of the team.  Great recruits in Cunningham and Williams and maybe a good transfer in Kourouma.   It’s not even a rebuilding year as 3 of the projected top 7 players are Srs.   It will be hard for the Wildcats to be in the top 6 in the league.

Pac 12 Results of the Week:

 

Utah, Stanford, Colorado and Arizona have the byes on Wednesday for the Pac 12 Tournament. 

            

Stanford: (27-4, 15-3) Beat Colorado in double Overtime 73-62.   Jones had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.  Jump and Betts each had 14 points.  Lost to Utah 84-78.  Jump had 24 points, 6 of 9 from three.  Brink had 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists, plus 4 blocks

 

Utah: (25-3, 15-3) Beat Cal 101-76.  Pili had 26 points and Johnson added 21 points.   Beat Stanford 84-78.  Kneepkens had 28 points, 5 of 9 from three.  Pili had 14 points.  Utah was 12 of 27 from three.  

            

Colorado (22-7, 13-5) Lost to Stanford in double overtime 72-63.  Sherrod had 19 points and Miller had 17 points.   Beat Cal 95-69.  Vonleh had 25 points and Foreman 19 points.   

 

Arizona: (21-8, 11-7) Lost to Oregon 73-59.  Reese had 19 points.  Lost to Oregon State 78-70.  Martinez had 16 points. 

 

UCLA: (22-8, 11-7)  Lost to Washington State 62-55.  Osborne had 14 points.   Beat Washington 70-62.  Osborne had 19 points and Rice had 15 points.  

 

USC: (21 -8, 11-7) Beat Washington 47-43.  Sissoko had 19 points.   Beat Washington State in 2 Overtimes 68-65.  Sissko had 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Littleton had 14 points.  

 

Washington State: (19-10, 9-9)    Beat UCLA 62-55 at UCLA.  Murekatete had 15 points and 10 rebounds.  Wallack also had 15 points.   Lost to USC is double Overtime 68-65.  Leger-Walker had 17 as did Murekatete.  

 

Washington: (15-13,7-11) Lost to USC 47-43.  Ladine had 9 points.  Lost to UCLA 70-62.  Van Dyke had 12 points, Stines and Ladine each had 11 points.  

 

Oregon: (16-13, 7-11) Beat Arizona 73-59.  Paopao had 21 points, 5 of 8 from three.  Rogers had 18 points.   Beat ASU 77-48.  Paopao had 23 points, 7 of 10 from three.  Rogers had 17 points.  

 

Cal: (13-16,4-14) Lost to Utah 101-76.  Curry had 27 points.  Lost to Colorado 95-69.  Curry had 26 points.  

 

Oregon State: (12-17, 4-14) Lost to ASU 75-73.  Beers and Blacklock each had 14 points.  VonOelhoffen is out for the year.  Beat Arizona 78-70.  Blacklock had 22 points, Beers had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Mitrovic had 10 points and 15 rebounds.  

  

ASU: (8-19, 1-17)  Beat Oregon State 75-73.  Skinner had 27 points.  Lost to Oregon 77-48.  Skinner had 15 points and Hunt had 13 points.

Stanford: (26-3, 14-2) Beat USC 50-47 as Cameron Brink set the all time career Block record at Stanford.   Brink had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks. Beat UCLA 71-66.  Brink had 25 points, Jones had 18 points and Lepolo added 11 points 3 of 5 from three.  Betts had 12 points in 15 minutes.  

 

Utah: (23-3, 13-3) Lost to Arizona 82-72.  Pili had 26 points and Johnson had 19 points.  Beat ASU without Pili 74-69.  Kneepkens had 22 points and Johnson had 15 points and McFarland back from last year’s injury had 9 points and 9 rebounds.

 

Colorado (21-6, 12-4) Beat ASU 70-62. Miller had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Sadler had 16 points.  Lost to Arizona 61-42.  Sadler had 12 points.  Colorado shot just 28%.

 

Arizona: (21-6, 11-5) Beat Utah 82-72.  Pellington had 35 points, 13 of 18 from the floor.  Beat Colorado 61-42.  Pellington had 19 points.  

 

UCLA: (21-7, 10-6)  Beat Cal 67-54.  Jones had 19 points. Lost to Stanford 71-66.  Jones had 14 points, Rice, Osborne had 11 points. 

 

USC: (19 -8, 9-7)  Lost to Stanford 50-47.  Littleton had 15 points.  Lost to Cal in OT 81-79.  Sissoko had 30 points and Marshall was back with 14 points and 9 rebounds.  

 

Washington State: (18-9, 8-8) Beat Oregon 64-57. Murekatete had 17 points and Teder had 13 points. Beat Oregon State 67-57. Murehatete had 19 points and Leger-Walker had 15 points.

 

Washington: (15-11,7-9) Beat Oregon State VanDyke 17 points, Ladine 11 points and Daniels 11 points and 7 rebounds. Beat Oregon 68-60.  Six 8 -13 players had points.  

 

Oregon: (14-12, 5-11) Lost to Washington State 64-57.  Gray had 18 points and Rogers 17 points.    Lost to Washington 68-60.  Paopao had 22 points. 

 

Cal: (13-14,4-12) Lost to UCLA 67-54.  Curry had 15 points, Martin and McIntosh each had 14 points.  Beat USC in OT 81-78.  Curry had 27 points.  

 

Oregon State: (11-16, 3-13) Lost to Washington 64-59.  Blacklock and Hansford each had points, Beers had 11 points and 13 rebounds.  Lost to Washington State 67-57.   Gardiner had 17 points.

Pac 12 Results of the Week:  Stanford, Utah, Colorado, UCLA and USC won 2 games.  WSU, Oregon, Washington, Oregon St. and ASU lost 2 games.

                     

Stanford: (24-3, 12-2)  Beat Arizona 84-60.  Brink had 18 points, Jones 18 points & 12 rebounds and 6 assists.  Betts had 12 points.  Beat ASU 96-64.  Emma Nnopu had 17 points 5 of 6 from three.  Brink with 15 points, Betts with 13 points.  Stanford was 12 of 23 from three, Jump 4 of 8.  
 
 
Colorado (20-5, 11-3)  Beat Washington State 71-68 after being down 9 after 3 quarters.  Sherrod had 27 points, shooting 10 of 12.  Beat Washington 65-43.  Miller had 17 points and 12 rebounds. 
 
 
Arizona: (19-6, 9-5)  Lost to Stanford 84-60.  Beat Cal 80-57.  Pellington had 24 points.  Martinez had 15 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists.

Stanford: (22-3, 10-2) Beat Washington State 71-38 holding the Cougars to 25% shooting.  Jones had 13 points and 9 rebounds, Brink had 10 points and 8 rebounds.  The bench played 45% of the game and scored 37 points.  Betts had 10 points, Bosgana 8 points and Nivar 5 assists.  Lost to Washington 72-67.  Jones had 18 points, Demetre was 5 of 9 from three for 15 points.   Stanford lost the rebounding battle by 10.
 
 
Utah: (20-2, 10-2)     Beat Oregon State in overtime 75-73.  Pili had 23 points and Kneepkens had 17 points.   Beat Oregon 100-92.  Pili had 30 points, Johnson 19.  Utah was 13 of 25 from three. 

 
Colorado (18-5, 9-3)  Beat Oregon 63-53.  Vonleh had 22 points.  Miller had 10 rebounds.  Beat Oregon State 67-48.  Miller and Sherrod both had 15 points.

Oregon State: (11-12, 3-9)  Lost to Utah in OT 75-73. Von Oelhoffen had 17 points, Yeaney had 13 points.  Beers had 11 points and 9 rebounds.  Lost to Colorado 67-48.  Gardiner had 13 points.   
 
 
Cal:  (11-12,2-10)  Lost to Washington 70-54.  Lutje Schipholt had 19 points.  Lost to Washington State 70-60.  Martin had 11 points and 9 rebounds.    

 

UCLA:  (18-6, 7-5)      Lost to Arizona in OT 71-66 although up by 11 with 4 plus minutes to play.  Jones had 20 points.  Bessoir 14 points and Rice 14 points.  However Rice and Osborne were 5 of 26 from the floor.   Beat ASU 82-63.  Osborne had 23 points and Jones had 20 points.  


USC: (17 -6, 7-5)  Beat ASU 64-49.  Sissoko had 23 points and Littleton 21 points.   Lost to Arizona 81-75.  Marshall had 17 points and 20 rebounds.  Littleton had 21 points.  

 

Washington State: (16-7, 6-6)    Lost to Stanford 71-38.   Beat Cal 70-60.  Leger-Walker had 25 points.

Stanford: (21-2, 9-1) Beat Oregon State 63-60.   Brink had 21 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks.  Jones had 17 points.  Beat Oregon 62-54.  Brink set a school record with 10 blocks and the team had 13 blocks.  Brink had a triple double with 16 points and 11 rebounds plus her blocks.  Demetre came in the 2nd half to hit 3 threes.  Jump had 14 points and Jones had 16 rebounds.  The Ducks shot just 25%.  

 

Utah: (18-2, 8-2) Beat USC 83-73.  Pili had 21 points, McQueen 17 and Kneepkens had 16 points.  Beat UCLA 71-69 as Pili scored in the final second.  Pili had 23 points.

 

Colorado (16-5, 7-3) Beat UCLA 73-70 in OT on Wetta’s late three.  Sherrod had 20 points and Miller had 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Wetta had 13 points.  Lost to USC 71-54.  Vonleh had 16 points, Miller had 13 points and 11 rebounds.  

 

UCLA: (17-5, 6-4)  Lost to Colorado 743-70 in OT.  Jones had 14 points, Bessoir and Osborne had 12 points.  Lost to Utah 71-69.  Bessoir had 17 points, 5 of 6 from three.  

 

Arizona: (16-5, 6-4) Beat Washington 61-54.  Reese had 15 points and Martinez had 12 rebounds.  Lost to Washington State 70-59.  Martinez had 14 points and Conner had 13 points. 

 

USC: (16 -5, 6-4) Lost to Utah 83-73.  Marshall had 15 points and 11 rebounds while Littleton had 15 points.  Beat Colorado 71-54.   Littleton had 21 points, Marshall 19 points and 10 rebounds and Sissoko 18 points and 12 rebounds.  

 

Oregon: (14-7, 5-5)   Beat Cal 78-73.  VanSlooten had 20 n and Rogers had 18 points.  Lost to Stanford 62-54.  Kyei had 12 points and 17 rebounds.  

 

Washington State: (15-6, 5-5)    Beat ASU 61-57.  Wallack had 15 points and Leger-Walker had 12 points.   Beat Arizona at Ariazon 70-59.  Murekatete had 18 points and 9 rebounds.  Wallack had 12 points and 12 rebounds and Leger-Walker had 10 rebounds and 7 assists.

Pac 12 Results of the Week:

            

Stanford: (19-2, 7-1) Beat Utah 74-62.  Jones had 25 points and 12 rebounds and Brink also had 25 points and had 14 rebounds.  Beat Colorado 62-49.  Stanford set a school record with 14 blocks 6 by Brink.  Jump had 21 points with 5 threes, Jones had 18 rebounds.  

 

Utah: (16-2, 6-2) Lost to Stanford 74-62.  Pili had 25 points and Kneepkens had 19 points.   Beat Cal 87-62.  Kneepkens had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Pili also had 20 points.  Utah shot 53%.

 

Colorado (15-4, 6-2) Beat Cal 73-66.  Miller had 26 points, 3 of 6 from three.  Vonleh had 13 points and Sherrod had 15 points. Lost to Stanford 62-49.  Sherrod had 16 points, Miller 14 and Vonleh 13 points. 

 

UCLA: (17-3, 6-2) Beat Washington 51-47.  Rice and Osborne each had 12 points.    Beat Washington State 73-66.   Jaquez and Bessoir each had 13 points.  

 

Arizona: (15-4, 5-3) Beat ASU 80-67.  Conner led with 16 points as 5 players were in double figures.  

 

Oregon: (13-6, 4-4) Lost to Oregon State 68-65.  Gray had 18 points, 6 of 12 from three.  Hanson had 14 points.  

 

USC: (15 -4, 5-3) Beat Washington State 51-44.  Sissoko who had missed several games had 19 points while Marshall had 13 rebounds.    Beat Washington 54-51.  Sissoko had 15 points and Marshall had 15 rebounds. 

 

Washington State: (13-6, 3-5)   Lost to USC 51-44.  Leger-Walker didn’t play, Tuhina had 13 points.  Lost to UCLA  73-66 without Leger Walker again.  Tuhina had 15 points.  

 

Oregon State: (11-8, 3-5) Beat Oregon 68-65.  The addition of Timea Gardiner who had been out really has helped as she had 15 points.  Von Oelhoffen had 16 points.  

 

Washington: (10-8,2-6)   Lost to UCLA 51-47, a close game despite the Huskies shooting just 29%. Lost to USC 54-51.  Swartz had 16 points, Daniels had 17 points and 9 rebounds.

 

Cal: (10-9,1-7)   Lost to Colorado 73-66.  Lutje Schiphot had 17 points, Curry had 13 and McIntosh 12 points.  Lost to Utah 87-62.  Curry had 15 points.  

 

ASU: (7-10, 0-6) Lost to Arizona 80-67.  Hunt had 24 points and Simmons 19 points.

Results of the Week Jan. 9-15

Pac 12 Results of the Week:

            

Stanford: (17-2, 5-1)  Beat UCLA 72-59 outscoring UCLA 21-10 in the 4th Qtr.  Brink had 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks, 6 in the final qtr.  Jones had 16 points and 12 rebounds.   Emma-Nnopu had 9 points off the bench and played great defense.  Lost to USC 55-46. Brink had 11 points, 14 rebounds.  Stanford was 4 of 21 from three and shot just 31% overall.  

 

Utah: (15-1, 5-1)   ASU had to forfeit their game with Utah.  Beat Arizona in the last second 80-79.   Pili made two FTs with less than a second to play.  With 2-3 seconds left Arizona scored for what looked like was the win.  Pili had 27 points and Kneepkens added 20 points.  

 

Colorado (14-3, 5-1)  ASU had to forfeit their game with Colorado.  Beat Arizona 72-65.  Foremann had 23 points, Miller had 13 points and 9 rebounds.  Vohleh had 12 points and 9 rebounds.  

 

UCLA: (15-3, 4-2)      Lost to Stanford 72-59.  Both Osborne and Conti had 13 points.   Beat Cal 87-70, outscoring Cal 29-13 in the 4th qtr.  Jones had 18 points and Osborne had 17 points.  Rice had 15 points 8 rebounds and 12 assists.

 

Arizona: (14-4, 4-3)  Lost to Colorado 72-65.  Reese had 14 points and 9 rebounds.  Lost to Utah 80-79.  Reese had 25 points and 10 rebounds but fouled out late in the game. 

 

Oregon: (13-5, 4-3)    Beat Washington 65-58..  Hanson had 15 points, Paopao 16 points and VanSlooten 13 points.  Lost to Washington State in Overtime 85-84.   Rogers had 33 points 6 of 8 from three, Gray had 22 points 5 of 9 from three.  The Ducks were outrebounded by 14. 

 

USC:  (12 -5, 3-3) Beat Cal 63-43.  Littleton had 18 points and Marshall had 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Beat Stanford 55-46.  Littleton had 18 points while USC was 8 of 19 from three. 

 

Washington State: (13-4, 3-3) Beat Oregon State 63-56.  Wallack had 17 points and Leger-Walker had 14 points.   Beat Oregon in Overtime 85-84.  Murekatete had 20 points, Leger-Walker had 17 points.  

 

Oregon State: (10-8, 2-5) Lost to Washington State 63-56.  Lost to Washington 79-67.  Von Oelhoffen had 20 points.  

 

Washington: (10-6,2-4) Lost to Oregon 65-58.   Van Dyke and Daniels each had 14 points.  Beat Oregon State 79-67.  Stines and Schwartz each had 17 points as the Huskies shot 55%.   

 

Cal: (10-7, 1-5) Lost to USC 63-43.  Lutje Schipholt had 14 points.  Lost to UCLA 87-70 despite being down only one point after 3 quarters.  Martin had 23 points, 8 of 13 ferom three. 

 

ASU: (7-9, 0-5)    Had to forfeit both their games this weekend with Utah and Colorado.

Pac 12 Results of the Week:

            

Stanford: (16-1, 4-0) Beat Cal 60-56.  Brink had 25 points and 17 rebounds.  Stanford was just 4 of 20 from there and shot 32% overall.

 

Utah:  (14-1, 3-1) Lost to Colorado 77-67.  Johnson had 17 points and three other starters scored in double figures.   The Utes had 21 turnovers.  

 

Arizona: (14-2, 4-1) Beat Oregon State 72-69.  Reese had 16 points.  

Beat Oregon 79-71.  Conner off the bench had 16 points making all 3 of her three point attempts.  Pellington had 14 points and Loville had 13 points.  

 

UCLA: (14-2, 3-1) Beat USC 61-60.  Jones had 22 points.  Rice only played 17 minutes and Osborne was 2 of 16 from the floor.  

 

Oregon: (12-4, 3-2) Beat ASU 82-62. Rogers had 19 points and VanSlotten added 16 points.  Kyei had 10 points and 18 rebounds.   Lost to Arizona 79-71. VanSlotten had 18 points, Rogers and Paopao had 17 points each.  Kyei had 10 rebounds.

 

Colorado (13-3, 3-1) Beat Utah 77-67.  Vonleh had 15 points and Foremann had 20 points.  Sherrod had 16 points and 7 assists.

 

Oregon State: (10-6, 2-3) Lost to Arizona 72-69.   Von Oelhoffen missed a three at the end of the game.  Off the Bench Beers had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Marotte had 17 points.  Beat ASU 69-59.  Beers had 20 points and 12 rebounds. 

     

USC: (11 -4, 1-3) Lost to UCLA 61-60.  Marshall and Williams each had 15 points.  

 

Washington: (9-5,1-3) Lost to Washington State 66-52.  Daniels had 10 points.  

 

Cal: (10-5, 1-3) Lost to Stanford 60-56.  McIntosh had 19 points.  

 

Washington State: (11-4, 1-3)  Beat Washington 66-52.  Leger-Walker had 26 points, Murekatete had 20 points.  

 

ASU:  (7-9, 0-5)  Lost to Oregon 82-62.  Skinner had 20 points.  Lost to Oregon State 69-59.  Skinner had 22 points.

Pac 12 Results of the Week:

            

Stanford: (15-1, 3-0)

Beat ASU 101-69.   Brink had 17 points and 14 rebounds for still another double double, this on her 21st birthday.  Jump had 20 points, 6 of 10 from three and Jones added 16 points.  Betts was 5 of 7 for 10 points.  Stanford shot 58%.  

Beat Arizona 73-57.  Jones had 18 points and 16 rebounds.  Brink had 12 points however her first bad shooting game in a while going 3 for 15.  

 

Utah: (14-0, 3-0)   Beat Washington State 71-66.  Pili had 18 points and McQueen had 20 points.   Beat Washington 61-53.  Kneepkens had 18 points and McQueen 17.

 

Oregon: (11-3, 2-1)   Lost to UCLA 82-74.  Rogers had 18 points and VanSlotten and Paopao added 17 points each.       Beat USC 73-45.  Rogers had 19 points and Hanson added 17 points.  Kyei had 20 rebounds in 28 minutes.  

 

UCLA: (13-2, 2-1)  Beat Oregon 82-74.   Rice had 21 points and Osborne added 17 points.  Osborne left the game late with a shoulder injury.   

Lost to Oregon State 77-72 without Osborne.  Rice had 20 points, Conti 19 and Jones 17

 

Arizona: (12-2, 2-1) Beat ASU 84-66.  Martinez had 21 points and 10 rebounds.  

Beat Cal 63-56.  It was a one point game with 57 seconds to play.  Reese had 14 points, Martinez only played 12 minutes with foul trouble.  

Lost to Stanford 73-57, Loville had 12 points. 

     

Colorado (12-3, 2-1) Beat Washington 64-56.  Miller had 14 points and Wetta had 12 points hitting 3 of 4 from three.   

Beat Washington State 65-54.  Vonleh had 20 points.

 

USC: (11 -3, 1-2)  Beat Oregon State 69-58.  Marshall had 33 points and 18 rebounds.   

Lost to Oregon 73-45.  Marshall had 14 points and 11 rebounds 

 

Oregon State: (9-5, 1-2)  Lost to USC 69-58.  Beers had 19 points and 14 rebounds.  

Beat UCLA 77-72.  Beers had 22 points and 15 rebounds. 

 

Washington: (9-4, 1-2) Lost to Colorado 64-56.  Noble had 14 points.  

Lost to Utah 61-52.  Swartz had 17 points and Daniels had 14 points and 10 rebounds.  

 

Cal: (10-4,  1-2)  Lost to Arizona in a very close game 63-56, but a one point game with 57 seconds to play.  Curry had 13 points but 4 of 18 and McIntosh added 12 points.  

Beat ASU 74-61.  Onyiah had had 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Langarita the transfer from USF who had been out had 15 points.

 

Washington State: (10-4, 0-3) Lost to Utah 71-66.  The Cougars played without Leger-Walker who had to return for family matters to New Zealand.  Hope she is back soon.  Murekatete had 20 points and 11 rebounds.  

Lost to Colorado 65-54.  Murekatete had 15 points.   Leger-Walker didn’t play.  

 

ASU: (7-7, 0-3)   Lost to Arizona 84-66.  Skinner had 26 points.  Newman had 10 points and 9 rebounds.  

Lost to Stanford 101-69.  Skinner had 20 points and Treasure Hunt,  had 19 points.
