Stanford:  (10-1)  Beat UC Davis 92-52.  Jones set the all time Stanford record for career Threes.  Brink had 21 points and Ifiafen had 20 points and 11 rebounds.  Bosgana had 14 points and Demetre had 11 points and 8 rebounds. 
 
 
Colorado: (10-1)  Beat Northern Colorado 78-56. Sherrod had 16 points and 4 others in double figures. 

Oregon State:  (10-0) Beat SE Louisiana 92-69.  Beers had 19 points, Marotte 17 points and von Oelhoffen 18 points 8 rebounds and 6 assists.  Beat Texas Tech 77-65.  Von Oelhoffen had 20 points and 11 assists.  Beers had 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Washington: (11-1, 1-0) Lost to # 19 Louisville 59-51.  Daniels had 12 points and 10 rebounds. 
  
 
Arizona:  (8-4, 1-0)  Lost to Gonzaga 81-69.  Gilbert had 21 points and Kourouma had 17 points. 
 
 
Cal: (10-2)  Beat U of Louisiana Monroe 79-55.  Laditan-Twidale had 21 points.  Williams and Lane each had 11 rebounds. 
 
 
ASU: (8-4, 0-1)  Beat Fresno State 80-76.  Toure had 22 points and Brown had 20 points. 


UCLA:  (11-0)    Beat Ohio State 77-71.   Osborne had 19 points and Betts had 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Beat Hawaii 85-46.  Osborne had 17 points and Betts had 16 points.  


Utah:  (10-2)    Beat Weber State 89-36.  Pili had 19 points and McQueen 17 points 5 of 8 from three. 

 

USC:  (10-0)    Beat Fullerton 93-33.  Watkins had 23 points and the other 4 starters scored in double figures.   USC was 16 of 30 from three. Beat Long Beach 85-77.  Forbes had 36 points, 10 of 25 from the floor, 13 of 16 from the free throw line.  Watkins sat out.   


Washington State:  (11-3, 0-1)    Lost to Auburn 69-62.  Tuhina had 15 points and Leger-Walker had 12 points 9 rebounds and 8 assists. 

 

Oregon:   (9 -4)    Lost to Utah Tech 92-86.  Utah Tech was 21 of 31 from three.  VanSlooten had 25 points and Gray had 20 points.  Beat Oklahoma State 70-63.   Gray had 21 points and the Ducks shot 49%.

Stanford:  (8-1)  Beat San Diego State 85-44.  Brink had 25 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks in 25 minutes.  Harriel had three threes for 9 points. Jump had 13 points and Agara had 11 points.  Iriafen had 11 rebounds.  Lost at Gonzaga 87-78,  Brink sick only played 11 minutes.  Stanford shot 56%.  Jump, Ogden and Agara all with 13 points.  


UCLA:  (7-0)   Beat Arkansas 81-66.  Betts had 20 points going 10 for 10, and had 10 rebounds.  


Utah:  (7-1) Beat Carroll College 100-44.  Pili had 21 points and Kneepkens had 19 points.  Frosh Reese Ross had 16 points and is now averaging almost 11 ppg and shooting 64%.  Beat BYU 87-68.  Pili had 23 points , 5 of 7 from three.  McQueen had 18 points and Kneepkens added 17 points.  Utah was 17 of 34 from three.  


Colorado: (8-1) Beat Boston U 85-55.  Foreman had 22 points, 5 of 11 from three.  Vonleh had 18 points.  Beat Air Force 74-58.  Foreman had 23 points, 5 of 9 from three.  


USC:  (7-0)    Beat Cal Poly 85-44.  Watkins had 30 points.  Beat U of San Diego 89-58.  Watkins had 30 points.  Marshall had 20 points and 12 rebounds.  A note for San Diego Horstmeyer, daughter of the former Cal coach had 18 points. 

 

Washington State:  (9-1)  Beat T&M Commerce 111-50.  Murekatete had 22 points and 18 rebounds.  Beat UC Davis 77-52.  Tuhina had 19 points and Leger-Walker had 10 points and 10 rebounds.  


Washington: (8-0)  Beat USF 63-39.  Ladine had 16 points and 10 rebounds.  



Oregon State:  (6-0) Beat Weber State 79-53. Beers 24 points and 12 rebounds. Beat Western Kentucky 76-52.  Beers had 20 points and 13 rebounds.  Marotte had 23 points, 5 of 11 from three. 


Arizona:  (6-2)  Lost to UNLV 72-63.  Gilbert had 21 points.  



Cal: (7-1)  Beat St Mary’s 74-69.  Lane had 15 points.  McIntosh, Suarez and Laditan-Twidale all had 13 points.  



Oregon:   (4 -3)   Lost to the U of Portland 91-60.   VanSlooten had 15 points and 16 rebounds.    Lost to Baylor 71-51.  Kyei 15 points and 12 rebounds.



ASU: (7-2)  Beat Pacific 76-66.  Simmons had 26 points and Brown added 20 points.

Stanford:  (7-0)    Beat Duke in Overtime 82-79.  Brink had 29 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks.   Iriafen had 27 points and 9 rebounds.  Jump was 5 of 10 from three for 15 points.  

Beat Belmont 74-55.  Brink had 27 points and 16 rebounds.  Beat # 13 Florida State 100-88.  Iriafen had 30 points and 17 rebounds.  Brink Had 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks in 16 minutes.  Bosgana had 16 points, Jump had 17 points, Lepolo and Demetre each had 6 assists.  Stanford had 31 assists on 37 baskets. Beat Albany 79-35.  Brink had 21 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks.  Jump had 16 points, 4 threes.  



Utah:  (5-1) Beat Alaska Anchorage 101-57.  Ross had 20 points and 11 rebounds.  Kneepkens had 22 points.   Pili had 18 points and Vieira had 14 assists.  Beat Eastern Kentucky 117-72.   Pili had 28 points, Kneepkens 22 points and Vieira had 20 points.  Beat Merrimack 98-34.  Pili had 22 points and McQueen had 18 points.  Vieira had 11 assists and Ross had 10 points and 11 rebounds. 


UCLA:  (6-0)   Beat UConn 77-67.   Rice had 24 points and 11 rebounds, Osborne had 18 points.  Beat Niagara 97-46.  Jaquez had 23 points and Jones 21 points.  


Colorado: (4-1) Beat SMU 84-69.  Vonleh had 23 points.  Miller and Sherrod each had 18 points plus Miller had 10 rebounds. Beat Cincinnati 77-60.  Vonleh had 13 points and Sadler 15 points. Beat Kentucky 96-53.  Vonleh had 19 points and 4 more were in double figures scoring. Lost to # 10 North Carolina State 78-60.  Sherrod had 20 points.  


USC:  (5-0)   Beat Seton Hall 64-54.  Marshall had 14 points and 15 rebounds and three others scored in double figures. Beat Penn State 71-70.  Watkins had 31 points, 10 rebounds and 7 turnovers.  Marshall had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

 

Washington State:  (7-1)  Beat Prairie View 81-43.  Leger-Walker had 17 points. Beat Maryland 87-67.  Leger-Walker had 11 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists.  Murekatete had 17 points.  Beat U Mass 90-48.  Five players in double figures and Tuhina with 10 assists.  Lost to Green Bay 59-48.  Leger-Walker had 17 points. 


Washington: (7-0)  Beat Seattle 80-64.  Ladine had 18 points and 12 rebounds. Beat Idaho State 57-37.  Swartz had 13 points. Beat Air Force 73-53.  Swartz had 19 points. Beat Hawaii 58-41.  Daniels had 19 points and 9 rebounds. 



Oregon State:  (4-0) Beat UMBC 88-52.  Beers had 27 points and 16 rebounds.  Rees had 17 points.  


Oregon:   (4 -1)  Lost to Santa Clara 89-50.  Santa Clara shot 54%.  Beat Nevada 76-47.  VanSlooten had 17 points and 16 rebounds.  Kyei had 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Rambus had 17 points. 


Arizona:  (6-1)  Beat Memphis 90-67.  Martinez had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Nnaji had 15 points.  Lost to # 23 Mississippi 56-47.  Nnaji had 12 points. Beat South Dakota 61-52.  Martinez had 14 points.  



Cal: (6-1)  Beat Florida A&M 76-38.  McIntosh had 25 points and Suarez added 16 points. 

Beat San Jose State 74-51.  Onyiah had 13 points and Laditan-Twidale had 12 points. Lost to Texas A&M  65-51.  Only 843 in attendance.  Martin and Suarez each had 12 points. 



ASU: (6-2) Beat Idaho State 72-40.  Crisp had 17 points and 6 assists. Lost to #12 Texas 84-42.  The Sun Devils had 27 turnovers. Beat South Florida 66-49.  Crisp had 17 points, Hunt and Brown each had 14 points. Beat High Point 77-69.  Brown had 20 points and Hunt 19 points.

Stanford:  (3-0)  Beat Cal Poly 86-32.  Bosgana Had 15 points and Harriel had 14 points with 3 threes.  Demetre had 11 rebounds.   


Utah:  (2-1) Lost to Baylor 84-77.  Pili had 22 points however missing most of the first half with foul trouble,  Kneepkens had 18 points.  


UCLA:  (3-0)   Beat Princeton 77-74.   So very close.  Betts has 22 points and 10 rebounds.  Osborne had 21 points. 


Colorado: (3-0) DNP


USC:  (3-0)   Beat LaMoyne 93-42.  Juju Watkins had 35 Points and 9 rebounds in 25 minutes.  

 

Washington State:  (4-0)  Beat Montana 61-49.  Murekatete had 22 points and 11 rebounds.  Leger-Walker had 19 points. 


Washington: (3-0) Beat Pacific 81-64.  Daniels had 17 points.  


Oregon State:  (3-0) Beat UC Davis 86-48.  Beers had 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Gardiner had 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Stanford:  (2-0)  Beat Hawaii 87-40. Kiki Ifiafen had 23 points and 13 rebounds and Nunu Agara had 18 points.  Beat # 9 Indiana 96-64.  Brink with 20 points and 17 rebounds and Iriafen with 20 points and 11 rebounds.  Brink with 4 Blocks.  Plus three more players with 10 or more points.   Plus a rotation of 10.



Utah:  (2-0) Beat Mississippi Valley State 104-45.  Pili had 26 points and Kneepkens added 18 points. Beat South Carolina State 108-48. Palmer had 21 points.


UCLA:  (3-0) Beat Purdue 92-49.   Betts and Jones each had 20 points.  Betts was 9 of 11 and Jones 6 of 11 from three.  Rice had 10 assists.   The Bruins had 29 assist on 35 baskets.  Beat Riverside 90-52. Betts had 15 rebounds Rice had 18 points. 2 players are playing in an overseas tournament and Bessoir tore her ACL.  Beat Bellarmine 113-64.  Jaquez had 30 points and 12 rebounds.  Betts 22 points, Osborne 24 points and Jones 21 points.  


Colorado: (3-0) Beat # 1 LSU 92-78.  Foremann had 27 points, 7 of 11 from three.  Vonleh had 24 points and Sherrod added 19 points.  Colorado had 24 assist on 33 baskets.    Beat LaMoyne 97-38. Balanced scoring, Vonleh 13 points and 11 rebounds  Beat Oklahoma State 86-75.  Vonleh had 18 points and Sherrod had 16 points and 9 assists.  



USC:  (2-0) Beat # 7 Ohio State 83-74.  JuJu Watkins in her first game had 32 points.  Rayah Marshall had 18 points and 17 rebounds.  Beat Florida Gulf Coast 67-51. Watkins and Marshall each had 18 points.

 

Washington State:  (3-0) Beat Cal Poly 78-61.  Murekatete had 18 points.  Beat Gonzaga 77-72. Leger-Walker had 26 points.  Beat Idaho State 64-47.  Murekatete had 16 points.  


Washington: (2-0) Beat Sacramento State 76-28.  Ladine had 20 points.  Beat North Carolina Central 113-39. Sellers and Long off the Bench each had 18 points.



Oregon State:  (2-0) Beat Arkansas Pine Bluff 85-74.  Beers had 19 points and 14 rebounds.  The Beaver bench had 51 points.  Best Villanova 63-56.  Beers had 20 points and 14 rebounds.  


Oregon:   (2-0)  Beat Northern Arizona 81-48.  Van Slooten had 19 points and Gray had 17 points,   Kyei had 10 rebounds.  Beat Arkansas Pine Bluff 86-60. Gray had 20 points and Van Slooten added 19 points


Arizona:  (3-0) Beat New Mexico State 68-57.  Gilbert had 16 points and Nnaji had 15 points.  The Wildcats are back to 9 players.  Beat Northern Arizona 87-64. Cunningham now healthy had 18 points.  Beat LMU 70-54.  Gilbert led with 15 points.  



Cal: (2-0)  Beat Bakersfield 89-56.   Krimili had 18 points and Suarez and Mastrov each had 14 points. Beat Santa Clara 71-56. Williams had 16 points, Martin and Suarez each had 15 points.


ASU: (2-0) Beat Texas San Antonio 70-55.  Simmons had 17 points and Brown 16 points.  Beat Montana State 75-62. Simmons and Toure each had 17 points.

Stanford:  Beat Dominican 126-53.  Bosgana and Iriafen each with 19 points.  Iriafen also had 14 rebounds.   As to the frosh, Ogden with 16 points, 4 of 7 from three.  Agara with 16 points in 21 minutes and Clardy with 8 points and 3 steals and 3 assists.   Harriel with 13 points, 2 of 3 from three.   



Utah Beat Colorado State Pueblo in an exhibition 96-44.  Pili scored 20 points, Soph Lani White had 16 points, and Ines Vieira added 14 points.   Beat Nazarene in an Exhibition 125-38.   Reese Ross had 25 points. 

Colorado:  Beat Adams St in an Exhibition 81-57.  

Foreman with 16 points.   Next is LSU on Nov 6.  



Arizona: Beat West Texas A&M in an exhibition 103-58.  It was 61-18 at the half.  Gilbert had 24 points and Pueyo added 20 points.  Beat Pt Loma 52-44 with 5 players plus a 6th who played 39 seconds.

Last Year:

23-11 for the year and 9-9 in conference play and won the Pac 12 tournament.


Coaches:


Kamie Ethridge is in her 6th year as Head Coach.   Ethridge was the Head Coach at Northern

Colorado for 4 seasons averaging 21 wins and making the NCAAs this past season.   She was an Assistant for 18 years at Kansas State.   Kamie won a Gold Medal for USA Basketball at the 1988 Olympics then won an NCAA Championship as a Player at Texas.

Laurie Koehn is in her 6th year and came from Northern Colorado after three years with Ethridge.   She played professionally for 11 years.  

Camille Williams is in her 5th year at Washington State.  She was the Head Coach at Academy of Art is San Francisco last season and before that nine years at Nevada.   He was a two sport star at Wisconsin, basketball and the High Jump.  

Matt Smith is in his first year at Washington State.


Losses:    

Jason Chainey an assistant for 5 years moved on.  

Ula Motuga averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds.   Motuga graduated.

Emma Nankervis averaged 1 point.  Emma graduated.

Grace Sarver averaged 2 points.  Sarver graduated.

Kaia Woods just played 41 minutes last season.  Woods transferred to Arkon

Lauren Glazier averaged 2 points and 1 rebound.   Glazier to UOP.

Schedule:   

Gonzaga, Houston, Auburn and Maryland are non conference games of note.  The Cougars play only USC and UCLA on the road and play Oregon and Oregon State only at home.


The Returning Team: 

Charlisse Leger-Walker is a 5-10 Sr Guard who averaged 18 points and 5 rebounds with 68

Bella Murekatete is a 6-5,  5th year Post from Rwanda and Played HS in Idaho who averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds.    

Johanna Teder, 5-8  5th year Guard originally from Estonia.  Last season she averaged 8 points and made 59 threes at 34%.  

Astera Tuhina, 5-9 Soph Guard.   Tuhina is the youngest player to play for her native Kosovo National team and scored 7 points ppg last season.

Kyra Gardner 5-11 Soph  Wing who was the state of Washington Gatorade POY.  Kyra averaged 2 ppg.

Cia Eklof  5-10 Redshirt Frosh Guard from Finland who played on their 20U National team

Jessica Clarke, 6-3 Sr Post from British Canada who averaged 5 points and 2 rebounds.  

Tara Wallack, 6-2 Jr Wing from Canada and averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds.


Predictions: 

Most of the team is back with only one real loss.   Plus several good recruits/transfers.   Still the league is even better this season .   Obviously great coaching.
