Pac 12 Results of the Week ending January 23 – 3 games postponed

 

Stanford:  14-3  5-0   Beat Cal 97-74.   Jones had 26 points and 10 rebounds, Jump had 21 points 5 of 9 from three and Belibi had 20 points.  Game at Cal postponed.

 

Arizona:  14-2  4-2  Beat Utah 76-64.  Thomas had 25 points.  Beat Colorado 75-56.  Reese had 23 poits and 9 rebounds and Pellington had 28 points.  The Wildcats shot 53%.  

 

Oregon:   11-5   3-1    Beat Washington 68-61.  Sabally had 20 points and Rogers had 23 points.  Prince was scoreless.  Game at WSU postponed.

 

UCLA:  9-4  4-1    Beat USC 660-43.  Thomas had 20 points.  Beat USC 68-58.    Osborne scored 27.   

 

Oregon State:  9-4  2-1   At Washington State Postponed.  Beat Washington 47-41.  Kennedy Brown 13 points.  

 

Colorado:  13-4    2--4    Lost to ASU 57-52.   Lost to Arizona 75-56.  Hollingshed had 11 points and 10 rebounds. 

 

Utah:  10-5  1-2   Lost to Arizona 76-64.  Kneephens had 15 points.   Beat ASU 72-63.  Kneepkens had 20 points and Maxwell had 15 points.  

 

ASU:  9-6  1-1  Beat Colorado 57-52.  Hanson had 17 points.   Lost to Utah 72-63.  Loville had 20 points.  

 

Washington State:  9-7   2-3     Oregon State Postponed.  Oregon game postponed.  

 

USC: 9-7  2-4  Lost to UCLA 66-43.  Jenkins had 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Other than Jenkins USC was 9 of 47 from the floor.   Lost to UCLA 68-58.  Jenkins, Pili and Reed all scored 13 points.  

 

Cal: 9-5  0-3  Lost to Stanford 97-74.  Curry had 30 points and Cal scored 32 in the 2^nd Qtr. Stanford at Cal Postponed.

 

Washington:  5-7  0-4  Lost to Oregon 68-61.  Schwartz had 18 points, Peterson 15 and Mulkey 14 points.  Lost to Oregon State 47-41.  Mulkey had 12 points.

Stanford:  13-3  4-0   Beat Colorado 60-52.  Stanford had 22 turnovers half of them in the first qtr.  Stanford out rebounded Colorado by 22.  Jones had 11 points, Brink and Prechtel had 10 points each.  Beat Utah 83-73.  Brink with 24 points and 11 rebounds.  Lexie with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.  Brink is the Pac 12 Player of the Week.

 

Arizona:  12-2  2-2  Beat Oregon State in the final second 55-53.  Yeaney had 15 points.  Lost in OT to Oregon 68-66.  Reese had 16 points, Yeaney and Pellington each had 14 points.  

 

Colorado:  13-2    2-2   Lost to Stanford 60-52.  Miller had 16 points.   Game vs Cal postponed.  Lost to Oregon State in OT 69-66.  Miller had 18 points.  

 

Utah:  9-4  0-1  Game vs Cal Postponed.  Beat UC Riverside 89-48.  Johnson had 18 points.  Lost to Stanford 83-73.  Johnson had 15 points.   

  

Oregon:   10-5   2-1   Game vs ASU Postponed.  Beat Arizona in OT 68-66.   Paoapo had 24 points.  Sabally 20 points and 13 rebounds.  Oregon was down 12 going into the 4^th qtr.  Beat UConn 72-59.   Paopao had 22 points and 8 rebounds.   

 

Oregon State:  8-4  1-1   Lost to Arizona in the final second 55-53.  Corosdale had 19 points and 8 rebounds.   Game vs ASU postponed.  Beat Colorado in OT 69-66  von Oelhoffen had 17 points and Mack 16.  Together they were 8 of 12 from three.  

  

ASU:  8-5  0-0  Game vs Oregon Postponed, also ASU vs Oregon State Postponed.  

 

UCLA:  7-4  2-1   Beat Washington 63-48.  Thomas had 25 points.  Beat Washington State 71-58.  Osborne had 25 points.  

 

 

Washington State:  9-7   2-3    Beat USC 71-63.  Motuga had 14 points, 4 of 5 from three and Teder had 20 points with 4 threes.   Lost to UCLA 71-58 Charlisse Leger-Walker had24 points and 9 rebounds.  

 

Cal: 9-4  0-2  Game vs Utah postponed.  Game vs Colorado postponed.  

 

 

USC: 9-5  2-2  Lost to Washington State 71-63.   Jenkins had 20 points.  Beat Washington 73-66.  Jenkins had 24 points. 

 

 

Washington:  5-5  0-2  Lost to UCLA 63-48.  Van Dyke had 15 points.  Lost to USC 73-66.  Mulkey had 26 points.

Stanford:  11-3  2-0   Beat Oregon 80-68 behind a career night by Lexi Hull who scored 33 points, 7 of 10 from three, 6 of 12 from two.  The game against Oregon State is postponed.  Beat Gonzaga 66-50.  Jump had 21 points, Brink had 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks.

 

Arizona:  11-1  1-1  Beat Washington State 6-52, Reese had 20 points.   Lost to USC 76-67.  Reese had 29 points. 

 

Colorado:  13-0    2-0  Beat USC 71-58.   Hollingshed had 18 points and Miller had 13 points and 10 rebounds.  Sherrod and Fromann both had 15 points and Sherrod added 8 assists.   Beat UCLA 71-63.  Sherrod had 25 points and 8 assists.  

 

Utah:  8-3   Game with UCLA postponed

 

Oregon:   8-5  1-1  Lost to Stanford 80-68.  Rogers had 22 points and Sabally added 19 points.    Beat Cal 88-53.  Parrish had 21 points, 7 of 9 from three.  Paopao had 21 points.

 

Oregon State:  7-3   Cal Postponed

 

ASU:  8-5   Washington Postponed, Washington State Postponed.

 

UCLA:  5-4  0-1   Game with Utah postponed.  Lost to Colorado 71-63.  Chou had 15 points.  

 

Washington State:  9-5  0-2   Lost to Arizona 60-52.  It was a two point game with about a minute left when the Washington State coach got a Technical.  Game at ASU Postponed.

 

Cal: 9-4  0-2  Oregon State Postponed.  Lost to Oregon 88-53.

 

 

USC: 8-4  1-1  Lost to Colorado 71-58.  Jenkins had 14 points.  Beat Arizona 76-67.  Jr Guard Alyson Miura had 15 points, 5 of 6 from three.  Jenkins had 14 points.

Pac 12 Results of the Week ending January 2, 2022

The SJ Mercury has a new writer for WBB.   I’ve listed the teams in order of his power rankings.   

Only 2 of the 12 scheduled league games were played.  As of now all games are able to be played next week.  

Stanford:  9-3  1-0   Beat Washington State 82-46.   Haley Jones had 24 points and 16 rebounds.  Stanford had 5 players who could not travel with the team.  

 

Arizona:  10-0   

 

Colorado:  11-0     

 

Utah:  8-3   

 

Oregon:   7 -4  Beat Carroll of MT 88-57.   Sabally, Rogers and Paopao all played.  Five scored in double figures.  

 

Oregon State:  7-3   

 

ASU:  7-5   

 

 

UCLA:  5-3   

 

 

Washington State:  9-4  1-1   Beat Cal 69-42.  Charlisse Leger-Walker had 22 points.   Lost to Stanford 82-46 as Charlisse had 15 points, but 7 of 21 shooting.

  

 

Cal: 9-3  0-1  Lost to Washington State 69-42.  Cal was missing their top scorer and two more key players
