Stanford in the NCAAs

The first game on Saturday is Miami of Florida with a record of 24-8 vs South Dakota State with a 26-6 record. Miami is a 5 seed and the Jack Rabbits of South Dakota State a 12 seed.

Miami is led by 5-6 Jr Guard Jessica Thomas who scores 12 points per game and has hit 63 threes at 36%. Adrienne Motley is a 5-9 Jr Guard who averages 15 points per game and has hit 57 threes at 37%. Former Stanford Assistant and Washington Head Coach Tia Jackson is an assistant.

A Note on Arizona:
Arizona and women's basketball coach Niya Butts will part ways after the season, according to a Tuesday announcement from Arizona AD Greg Byrne. The ArizonaWildcats.com article also revealed the whole coaching staff will be turned over this offseason.
